patch help needed

after this last update I haven't been able to complete the patch. I am on a
dial up connection and about 80% through the download it stopped at a file
EQLS_window_pieces_02.tga. The next message says the patch server may be
busy to please reattempt the download.

Surely it's not busy for 2 days is it? Lol

what do you think the problem is?

I'd delete that particular file and repatch, see if that sorts it out.

all good suggestions, thanks but I've already been there, done that.
However I did solve the problem. Somehow my primary and secondary DNS
numbers were incorrect. After putting the correct DNS numbers in the dial
up networking connection it is downloading again. I've seen online others
having this exact same problem that the download just stops at the file
EQLS_window_pieces_02.tga. If this is your problem I would suggest checking
your DNS numbers. It fixed mine.

Did you install SP2 just before patching? SP2 changed my
static IP numbers. Made them 169.***.***.***, instead of the
correct 192.168.0.** range.
