OK, I haven't been playing a hell of a lot lately... however, after
checking in one of my characters today, something I have no
explanation for has happened, I was wondering if I missed something,
or if this has happened to anyone else, or if I should just shut the
hell up and run with it.
Right after the Vetrans' Rewards thing came out, I claimed a couple on
my main character... "Lesson of the Devoted," and "Staunch Recovery."
Used them both a couple times, then started playing other characters
sporadically.
OK fast forward to today... I log in my main for the first time in a
month that I've really paid any attention to her, and discover that I
have somehow gained Wrath of the Wild, and Ardent Recovery, meanwhile
losing Staunch Recovery.
WTF?
Not that I'm complaining or anything, but, I know damn well that I
never gained either of those abilities, because... well, because I
have no idea where the hell to even get them. Also, there's the loss
of the other ability, which is easy enough to get back, but... has
anyone had this happen, or know what happened, or, well know what the
hell is going on?

I'm not sure what you mean by "claimed a couple on my main".
In my experience, when I've claimed the Veteran Rewards on a
character (and clicked the confirmation box), I got all of
the rewards the account was entitled to.  I wasn't given a
choice of individual rewards on each character.

Further, Wrath of the Wild isn't a Veteran Reward, and neither
is Ardent Recovery.  Frankly, it sounds to me like when you
went back and looked, you were looking at the wrong tab in the
AA window.  Try clicking on the Veteran tab?

let's say, set up hot keys, and yes, I know Wrath of the Wild isn't a
VR, apparently that wasn't made crystal clear. THAT'S WHAT I DON'T
UNDERSTAND... note the part you so dilegently edited out without
making note

I know you must've read that, because you cut it out. Hope that's a
little clearer now that it's been repeated.

If you know it isn't a veterans reward, and instead is a regular AA...  how
can you not know "where the hell to even get them"?  The same as any other
"regular" AA, at your favorite grinding spot.

Seeing as how this is blindingly obvious, I'm thinking the suggestion to try
clicking on the veteran tab was a better one than you would care to admit.
