Hello!  Im completely new to EQ2, but the bit i've played so far has got me
totally in love with it.
I finally got EQ2 for christmas from my friend.  I played EQ1 ages and ages
ago.So here I am, looking for groovy tips and helpful hints.    Im just
wondering if ya'll have a FAQ for this group, so I dont' get flamed for
saying the wrong thing.  Heh.

I look forward to participating in this group, and PLEASE tell me it's not
full of 13 year olds who want to Pwn everything?

There is a FAQ, don't have the URL off hand.  When you post EQ2 questions,
please put EQ2 in the subject, it's helpful to know which game is being
talked about.  There is an EQ2 newsgroup, alt.games.everquest2, but traffic
there is very light, and lots of EQ2 stuff is discussed here still.

Indeed we do.  Most of the information in it pertains to EQL, but there
is a section in it on helpful advice for posting in this newsgroup.  The
link is in my sig.

Actually, we have very few, if any of those.  I think that crowd tends
to gravitate towards web based forums, the better to show off their 3733t
sig pictures.

I'm 40.  I doubt if I am the oldest person that post regularily to the
group.

I'm 42. I've met one teen (who admitted it) and he played (and roleplayed)
wonderfully! I play both EQ & EQ2 (as many might) so this forum is ideal to
glean info. Enjoy!
