Ack! Hate to follow up my own post, but some more clarification was
needed:

NOT a FoH raid, a dev/beta-buffed raid that a FoH member was along

Yeah, they were dev-buffed to 50. Apparently the highest level people in
beta are still only in their low 40s. They said they were all using mid-
30s to mid-40s equipment so they weren't optimally equipped and got
their arses handed to them on a few encounters.
