Heh heh heh! Sony finally f.cked the right ones over this time, the
ones that 'pre-ordered' OoW!

How does it feel to lose all those hard earned levels? How did it feel
when you logged on and saw that you didn't have OoW registered
anymore? How did it feel when Sony's CSR told you you'd have to
re-purchase the OoW expansions again at the regular price?

Whatcha gonna do now? Quit Eq? Call your CC company and block the
charges? Look into a 'Class action Lawsuit'? Nah you'll just bend over
and say "Can I have some more please Mr. Sony?". Pathetic as always!

How many times do you have to bang your stupid head into a wall before
you realize you are being screwed over? Even with the DX9 fuckup that
STILL hasn't been fully fixed you go and buy the next expansion cause
its been overhyped by Sony paid 'independant' websites.

So get up off your fa lazy carcasses and slap Sony square in the face.
Cancel your account, challenge the charges by Sony, and (while
unlikely) check into the possibilty of a CA lawsuit. Hopefully it'll
put Sony out of the online game business and give a wake up call to
the other deadbeat companies out there.

Or you could grease up your a.s for Sony's next visit and play EQ2.

Um, what?  I pre-ordered OoW and I have none of the problems you describe.

One of the druids in my guild has that issue, same as the one that hit
me during PoP. It's been since late Sunday and CS still hasn't gotten back
to him. When it happened to me, it took a GM who was allowed to alter levels
maybe 15 minutes total to verify the issue and correct the problem. The
druid is understandably pissed off.

I seem to recall some past expansion, where if you preordered it your
character got bugged.
Since then I never preorder expansions.

The expansion itself, id say is good. Definitly thumbs up for this one,
which I cant say for either POP or GOD (or LOY for that matter).
Nice troll tho, id give you about a 6/10

A number of my friends who reached level 70 have been rolled back to 65 and
the oow expansion cancelled, apparently due to a mess up with one of their
credit card centres.

So yes there are quite a few pissed off ppl about, apart from that most ppl
i know seem to like it.

Yes, one of the officers in my guild had that happen to him. Only lost
2 levels though. However...

1.) The expansion was re-registered to him in less than 2 hours.
(Probably only took that long because of the number of people
effected.

2.) He has been told his levels will be restored to him. More than
likely by the time he logs in tonight.

3.) Despite the lackluster experience people seem to have with SoE
customer service, myself and most of my guild members have had nothing
but positive experiences with them. Yes they are slow, but they do
seem to get the problem fixed eventually.

I will site some examples.

a.) Myself, died in East Karanas in the canyon, apparently due to a
bug or lag, I'm not sure which. Body popped into the wall. Could not
find it, could not be summoned. GM came and fished it out for me.
(This was over a year ago, thankfully I haven't needed to petition for
anything more recently than that.) Took him 2 hours to get there, but
he did a 100% EXP rez on me when he got the body back.

b.) My Guild leader, he accidentally destroyed a bag with his epics in
it. GM rolled him back to before he did it. Did it over night, GL
logged back in the next day with his epics.

c.) A guildie, could not log in. Within 10 minutes CS had his ticket
closed and he could log in.

d.) A guild officer, he did the turn in for his epic a few days ago.
NPC ate it. Petitioned, got his stuff back within an hour.

I think the difference here is that the people in my guild are polite
and don't expect miracles. Most importantly we don't use phrases like
"grease up your a.s" in our petitions. People seem to be more helpful
when you are reasonable with them.

I work on the other end of the phone (not for sony) so I know what
it's like to be in their shoes. Too many things to do and not enough
time to do them. And of course everyone wants their issue fixed
"yesterday if not sooner". Cut ?em some slack, and things will go
smoother, they might even do your ticket before the person who made
his consisting almost exclusively of four letter words.

I did not lose any levels. And of the two in our guild that did, they got
them back.
