Compilation of money making activities while LFG

I recently saw a guy describe how he hunts the shadowed men (numerous zones)
for the shadow of essence while he is LFG (75 - 150p).

I tend to go after rockhopper hides in DSP (I am a 58 druid) which go for
from like 40 to 340 p depending upon rarity of hide, or sometimes if in a
real funk, I go to Jaggedpine Forest and forage plant shoots (30 p) and kill
giant anacondas for their meats (30 p).

I was wondering if others could contribute their rather brainless, almost
dangerless, solo activities that generate a little coin while in LFG mode,
especially if you are lvl 58 ish. This can be a farming type thing with
tradeskill (making padded leathers), or it can be a mob(s) / zone where the
easy drops are still worth a little something.

I don't play anymore, moved on to other games, but when I used to play EQ, I
would notice alot of stuff, I was low lvl but this should work for high
lvls, like Spider Silks would be spread across lots of vendors and they
weren't selling, most ppl dont want to get 2 or 3 silks each from 20 diff
vendors, so I would run around and buy up all the silks under 6 plat and
resell for 8 plat each and make a nice profit, did this with lots of stuff
just used silk as example.  Perhaps you could try this with Gargoyle Granite
or some other item lots of people tend to buy in the bazaar.

You've also got to take into consideration that farming for casters is a lot
different from farming for melees.  Melees, such as my rogue, have to
actually do something rather than snare pull, root, and let the dots kill
while we med.  We don't get a four hour health regeneration comprable to
KEI.  I had posted the idea of camping shadowmen for people who don't have a
caster toon.  I wouldn't call it brainless, but there's definately little
danger to it.  Dying while farming Bazaar items would seem brainless.

I'll definately concede that rockhopper hides is more profitable.  I moved
to that with my necromancer.
