What's the max number you can put in the EQ Datarate file?  It installs with
a value of 5.0.  I currently have it at 9.0.  How high can you set it?

Depends on your connection. 9 is recommended for cable.

Not in poarticular, except there seems to be less 'jumping' by
player characters, mine included. By that I mean I see less of a
character moving to a location, then suddenly popping back about a
hundred feet, then popping back to the location they just ran to.

I used f9 to place the camera view so I can look back at my
characters and I see smoother movement while traveling.

Please explain the EQ Datarate file.  What is its contents?  How does one
come to know how to alter that file, and to what purpose.

Richard.
