...that you leave Stonebrunt and Frontier Mountains
alone.
Very nice and quiet here without the constant silly
chatter in ooc and frequent trains.
Not to speak of Mithril amulets and Giants Lord Tunics.

Sorry for the provocative subject, and I know its
probably the wrong audience here, but i feel better
now.  :)

before luclin, FM was where most people went after they finished with loio.
Giant fort often had 4+ groups xping away.

FM xp was always really bad back then....OT was next door and had much
better xp, albeit less loot

although one could start working on the braids quest, and ultimately the
gate hammer would beat a few lucky rolls in FM

hey, look at me, arguing a moot point......yay usenet

DSP > LDoN, but I have to agree.  It would be nice if more people would hunt
in those zones.

If SOE really wants people to start using those zones again they'll fix the
experience modifiers.

Yeah, this is true.  I still maintain LDoN isn't helping the old-world zones
either. :)

Not sure about DSP xp,but at 34 I got nearly a blue
for a not so hard to kill yellow mob in FM.
I would call this pretty good.
But ok,FM is dangerous to solo,no camping at
zone wall possible, but makes it more interesting,
unlike echo Caverns where I am hunting now:safe,
good xp,not so great loot.

I used to set up camp at the LoIO zone in FM until I outgrew it, and
moved over to the giant fort.  I used to solo there quite a bit a long
time ago.  There are several zone lines you can use in FM, it has zones
to LoIO, OT, Dreadlands, that are reasonably safe spots.

Also, out past the castle (west and a bit north iirc) there's some
pretty safe rock piles to set up shop on.  Even back in the hey day of
FM hardly anyone ever hunted there - and there's always stuff to pull
out there.

Hm,not very safe to pull to the zone lines in FM,great danger
of adds cause visiblity is limited there by hills and rocks.
I used to solo at the so called "Rock",north of Giant fort, pretty
safe, good visibility and no runners there.
