Why does Morden Rasp show as a prefered server?
I have heard that the legends server has better drops (only hear say) can
this be the same for MR or am I missing something?

It's a throwback to when they used to publish server population, and would
recommend new people to join the one with the lowest. Now, they just show it
in green.

The Legends server is a different kettle of haddock. You pay a premium ($50
a month?) to have better content, and GM events, etc. You know, the kind of
stuff that most would agree should be on all the servers anyway.

Yeah that is the server with no bugs on it. They have had the clean code for
years but you have to pay extra to play on it.

Venril Sathir gets that kinda stuff on a weekly basis.  Long live ubisoft
gm's!

Yes, VS does get a weekly event  - it may not be a mega-awesome one,
but at least it inspires the feeling that someone Up There in Ubisoft
gives a damn.  I second -martin:  Long live Ubisoft gm's!

Theres been 4 in the last 2 weeks that I can recall, so sometimes even more!

A lot is unscheduled.. but things like ToT, Valor, BoB are all pre-planned

Yes, I thought I'd seen a couple this week, but wasn't sure.  I might
turn up and watch the event in Lake Rathe Arena this week, to see the
mighty in action - I have about 25 characters, but none over 50 - I
guess I like the trip more than the destination  :D

The little unscheduled ones are fun, too, and ensure you always feel
GM's are taking an interest.  Heck, the GM's actually turn up promptly
to unstick people from the scenery quickly!!  :O

I have more than 25 with 2 over 50 and another 2 over 40. I'm not sure
but I may have up to 10 more over 30. Have so many under 30 I don't
even keep track of them. I just like to compare differences in
different setups of characters and play on different servers.

Wow....and I'm not being judgmental or critical, I just can't imagine
playing that many characters. I have maybe 15 scattered around, but only
actually play 1 with any regularity at all, and 2 on the test server once in
a while. Of course, I've also deleted many a character, including a 55
pally.

Did you end up going to watch?

Sadly, no - my kids turned up a day earlier than usual to pay a visit,
and I could not, in due courtesy, switch on the PC.  How did it go?

Oh, I noticed a message on Venril again, while in S Karana (the
Splitpaw Spires) which said something to the effect 'the aviaks are
sick of being hunted and have moved their top warriors in to defeat
invaders.'  Was that an event?  I have never ever seen that message
before...

Remember Legends server (StormHammer) is for customers who pay the more
expensive membership $29.95/month.
