How Do I Turn Off Luclin Models

In an effort to get my 2 boxing a little more stable and lag free I'm going to
make some changes to my setup.  Currently I only have 1 EQ directory and
simply load EQW twice.  I leave all options the same for both copies that
are running so I'm running the full models and full sound in both.  It
works but sometimes it is very laggy.  I'm going to copy my EQ directory and
make a 2nd one.  This 2nd copy I just want to use the old models and I want to
disable sound.  I know I can disable the sound in-game, but how do I set the
models to use the old/less graphic itensive ones?  Also is there anything else
I should change in my 2nd copy to make the game run smoother?

The easiest way is to do it at the options screen when the patcher has
run.  You could also edit your eqclient.ini file.  Here is the start of
mine:

[Defaults]
Sound=TRUE
FEWindowedModeXOffset=256
FEWindowedModeYOffset=192
WindowedMode=TRUE
ReadOnce=TRUE
UseLuclinHumanMale=TRUE
UseLuclinHumanFemale=TRUE

Change the sound value to false and ALL of the UseLuclin models to
False (I have only shown you the first two from my file).

On the options tab in-game turn your clip plane right down and opacity
to cut out spell effects.

See that button before you enter your password that says "options"?
It's either that or manually edit your ini file, which would require
you to log out and back in before it takes effect anyway. If you're
asking if there's a way to turn them off in-game without having to
relog, the answer is no.
