We have improved collision checking.
System performance should be improved.

Rogue Combat Abilities
---------------------------
We have made the following changes to the rogue Sneak Attack line:

Sneak Attack will now make your next backstab attempt always hit and do
extra damage. You may only use a Sneak Attack ability after being hidden
for a few seconds. Once you become visible, you must attack quickly or the
advantage will be lost.

This change affects the following abilities:

Sneak Attack
Thief's Vengeance
Assassin's Strike
Kyv Strike
Ancient: Chaos Strike

And the grotesque server lag (up to 2 second latency that is not
attributable to ping time and varies greatly between zones), did
they bother to deal with that?  It's obvious they're aware of it.
The worst I've seen was running a lowbie around GFay, the mobs
there were moving very slowly, presumably as a half-assed attempt
to make the zone playable despite the problem (and, as is usual
with all things EQ, the situation greatly favors casters, no need
for Snare or SoW to kite when the mobs are already effectively
snared).

It often happens to me in ssra, and can be up to 6 seconds.

Of course, that's 30 Mar 04.  I'll learn to wake up before I send messages

Hmmm - no mention of the persistent dot bug being fixed.  Apparently
many people are death-looping to dot/drowning damage because the effect
isn't going away when they die.
