Anyone suggest where I can p-level my cleric with a 51 Beastlord? So
far I've done:
1-25 Paludal Caverns
26 and up I haven't figured a place yet. I tried Upper Guk (ZEM bonus
was great) but place was too compact and runners were a problem. Any
other suggestions?
I've provided the Cleric with the weap from Stronghorn (18/30 and no
rec levels which was a big plus) and a 41% haste item loaned from
Beastlord.
Thanks.

I took a lev 25 druid I was 2 boxing into Echo and used my cleric to nuke
bugs down to 1/2 bub and I would gate to SH and let the Druid get the exp.
You can also log off, but it takes longer. I may have gone to 29 in about 2
hours I think it was. It's a silly way, but it works.

Thanks. That sounds much faster than what I'm doing. Right now I'm
working in Sol A, and just letting my cleric beat goblins down while
the Beastlord uses one of his minor DoTs to help him along.

Why not atone? I used my enchanter to powerlevel my cleric into his mid
30's by nuking mobs down the same way then rooting and atoning or
blurring with the chanter. I found you can tell when the blur took by
the fact that the mob would stop facing one of my characters.

There are a couple of places I usually go - the Golra iceberg in Timorous
Deep and Basilisk caves in JaggedPine. They don't have above average ZEM's,
but they are safe and what you usually miss in terms of quality (i.e. high
ZEM) you can make up with in quantity. Golras are around levels 25-27
(Hulking Golras higher - probably stay away from them for PLing purposes).
They do stagger slowly away when low on health, but if they get too far they
warp back to their spawn point, so runners are not a problem. Cave
Basilisks in JaggedPine are near the Blackburrow zone-in crystal. There are
two types - regular basilisks and Genitors. They start around level 30 and
go up to 34-35 I think. Just take one of the caves and work your way around
it killing basilisks. The Genitors are KoS, but aggro ranges are so small
that you'd have to walk right over one to aggro it. They do run fast when
low on health, but don't go past the entrance to their cave. A group of us
recently PL'ed a mid-30's warrior is Kaesora a bit in the undead area (from
entrance tunnel, went straight forward, dropped down a shaft and wandered
around till we found a bunch of skellies). The undead don't run, but you
might get mobbed wandering around there - lots of things were seeing invis.

OK, I'm crazy, and from the *old school*. Why not play your cleric? I
started doing LDONs with my cleric around 25. If one wasn't available we
played in Marus Seru or Netherbian. These zones are easy to get to, and you
are actually learning how to *be* a cleric.
(If you are PL a cleric purely for rezzes ignore me. If you want to be a
viable part of a group, you need to be good at your class. Absolutely nothing
pisses me off more than someone who is level 50 and doesn't know how to *time a
heal* or *assist / pacify* or who to heal first or which heal to use. You
can't power level *real experience*, and as a cleric you can't fake your way
through. Your dead friends will know it right away).
In most groups a shitty cleric is worse than no cleric at all, and I guarantee
you, that is a fact.

There's a tradable 41% haste item?

Yes. Scalecracker is one.
http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=21390 Drops very rarely
during the Ring of Fear event in Cazic Thule. Sells for a million or so plat
when one is available. The fact that it has really freakin nice stats and is
range equippable helps.

Yes, I am on FV. Using Gauntelts of Dragon Slaying.
