How do the Monk skills Feign Death and Mend continue to improve
as skill goes from 100 to 200?  I've tried researching it on the
Monkly-Business and other sites, and can't find much.  It looks
like Mend basically works all the time after level 100, and I
haven't noticed any differences in how it works.  For FD, I'm
wondering if perhaps it starts to reset faster?

I had a hotkey set up for:
    /doability <feign death>
    /stand
    /doability <instill doubt>
to give me something to do while camping or travelling.  (The
feign + stand cancels autorun, but if I hold the forward-arrow
key while doing the above hotkey, and then autorun again, I can
run without really breaking stride.)  I'd found that the timing
on the two skills was such that if I hit the key again just as
feign popped up (even though ID was still down), then ID would
pop up just in time to get invoked again.  But last night, with
my FD skill at 119, I began seeing times where I'd hit the key,
and the feign/stand would work, but no instill doubt maneuver.
I think it might be because feign is resetting slightly faster,
so ID isn't ready in time.

Does anyone know if FD really does start resetting faster, or
how else it might be getting better at higher skill levels?
And similarly for Mend?

FD skill fails less at 200.

Mend is the same 100+, once you get it to 100
you can forget about trying to skill up on it and
just hit it when you need it. One thing to note is Mend
heals 25% of your current hps. This includes item hp
and buff hp. So the more hp you have the more mend heals.

FD only gets faster with AA skills.
Same with mend.

Mend never gets faster.

AA's give it the chance to "crit" only, to heal more

FD still fails at 170+ but just less I think (most often for non-skill
check reasons such as getting hit by a spell or FDing whilst still
attacking).  As for resetting faster, I don't believe that to be the
case.  As far as I know there is one class AA ability that cuts the FD
recycle time (it's name escapes me).

I'd be interested to see if anyone has any info on mend as I haven't
seen any change since 100 either.

My hotkey for FD includes /attack off, to ensure I'm not attacking,
especially since I usually *am* attacking up until the point I decide
I need to FD.  (Why this isn't an automatic part of FD is beyond me.)

The hotkey also includes /loc so I know where to look for my corpse
if the FD doesn't save me. :-)

FD duration isn't changing, it's likely a result of lag that you're seeing
ID not pop in time.
