I don't see as many posts as before. Doom used to be THE game. I still play
it besides Quake. I also have Descent but haven't installed it yet.

The server admins periodically delete all messages made before a certain
date. In this case, it was because of a rash of spam messages. Trust me,
doom is still very much alive.

I was enjoying a good book in 20030720181930.07206.00000368@mb-m12.aol.com,
when Roseb441702 <roseb441702@aol.comnospam> stumbled in shouting while
inebriated:

I don't play too much vid.games any more but the Doom series will always
have a gigabyte set aside for them on my systems. ;) I've been played
through Hexen recently with the JHexen source code project engine. Other
games I have installed at the moment; Heretic, Half-Life (Counter-Strike),
SimCity 4, Heroes of Might & Magic 3, Icewind Dale (just finishing it off
for the first -good riddance), and Homeworld (another one i have installed
mainly 'cause I'm so close to the end but have yet to finish it).
