Automatically generate text files for Doom levels

How can I automatically generate text files that accompany Doom and
Doom II
WADs? Can you point me in the direction of a suitable site with a
program for such a task? Any help appreciated.

There's no program, just edit the template UPLTEMPL.TXT supplied on any
DOOM FTP site:

ftp://3darchives.in-span.net/pub/idgames/ main site (Indiana, US)

ftp://ftp.clinet.fi/pub/games/idgames/ Finland mirror

No guarantees on aesthetics, but it works as long as you're not trying
to purposefully crash it or something. No upgrades will be written.
