Yep, cousin Tom is finally back online.
Note: playing NM cows with low 60's characters, after not playing for over
three months, can be detrimental to your characters health.  We jumped in
there with the wrong spells set up and almost both died.  My pally used all
16 full rejuves before I noticed I did not have Zeal *or* Fanatacism up (and
before Tom found his Corpse Explosion).  Three bosses, three to six champs
and a whole lot of other beef welcomed us back indeed.
But, we both lived thru it - barely. :-\  I think he had about two or three
skel mages left and that was all, both our mercs and all his regular skels
and his golem paid the ultimate sacrifice for us.  But, I can hear you and
agree, heh, that is their job. :)  Actually, once we got the right skills /
spells going they went down very quickly but there was almost no need for
phones
I _may_ be coming back to this game full time, WoW sure does not give you
the adrenaline rush that hardcore D2 can.  I (foolishly?) pre-paid for six
months of WoW already and have only used two so far (first month free) so we
shall see if I think it continues to be *worth* the 13 bucks a month or not
after that.  Not that the money is that much to me, but the principle
involved, if I don't use something, I wouldn't want to continue paying for
it.  Plus I must admit I have not seen everything yet.  I am still learning
it and it's world.  So I want to give WoW it's fair chance, but in the
meantime I expect to be playing both.  Play WoW until Tom gets home and then
play some D2 before bed is the plan of the moment.
