It's been a long while... RL has kicked in and so I have few hours on my own. I see our newsgroups are still overrun with spam :( Interesting thing this morning... logged into an "expired" character by mistake and it refreshed... wow! I refreshed about 30 expired chars before getting banned by switching too fast. Has anyone heard of this recently? Reg... damn it's been a long while. About the 'expired character' thing, Blizz has changed it so that they still stay 'available' for refreshing in perpetuity as long as nobody else has used the toon's name. Once a character expires, it's name becomes available for recycling. Just so long as it hasn't ben used, you're good to resurect it. I'm pleased that you discovered it for yourself. I made the mistake of checking my old mule accounts (some with collections of good stuff, including HRs) and deleting them on seeing that they were expired. Still hanging around ourselves. Actually I just pulled out my D2 and had a quick game with my Amazon, Legolassie, the other day. It's single player, Chaos Empire, Hell difficulty, and she's stuck at the Claw Viper Temple. f.ck if that's not a deathtrap. I'm collecting weird herbs and valuable elixirs in the hopes of surviving. Anybody have any experience with that? We're thinking some sort of direct wireless connection. My rig has plenty of space, but this one has the Net connection (not needed for our intended sort of multiplay, I think) and the virus protection. Hopefully that will be safe. I can't help but imagine it as a metaphorical sailor (this computer) having sex with an underage schoolgirl (my computer) while wearing a condom (this rig's virus protection) on its nose. For those who use jsp, find this guy's profile, you can do this from your PM box, username X3LS4. Here's a screenshot of it http://img128.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot020ot9.jpg That guy has the highest fg I've ever seen. I've seen a handful with 20k and several with 10k. Last I saw username mickey1, which was less than a week ago, he has around 10,500 forum gold (fg). In West Softcore Ladder, high runes (Vex and above) are 25-30 fg each. Shako around 5-8, Pgems 0.5, Um 8-10, Pul 7-8.
