A couple of interesting instances of late. Never seen anything like it...

The first occured within the last two weeks. I was helping a friend move
through hell when they typed "?". Of course, i typed "?" straight back.
Seems they'd received a message "your friend Nordoooke(smee) has left
battlenet". Most interesting as i was teleing towards Mephisto at the
time.... we had a little laugh and i continued on, we moved onwards, through
RoF and klled the big fella there, disposed of Shenk and then moved to take
down Anyas imprisoners. That was when my merc decided to show how good he is
getting at doing the moonwalk.. about 10 seconds later, bang..... got kicked
right out of Bnet. My friend remained in the game, with all the quests we'd
completed acknowledged. Was my "exiting bnet" message they received a veiw
into the future? hmmmm

And then yesterday i was running for keys. First game i found a nice 4 os
sacred targe, a flawless saph and a negligable wand. At the start of the
next game i stashed the sheild and gem, then sold the wand. Continued
running keys (no finds), exited game, started another, ran the keyholders,
in total i ran 3 more games before the merc again showed his danceing
skills, moonwalking towards Nilly. Ended up getting kicked back to the join
game screen. "eh", i thought, "stupid bnet". Created another game, ran to
Cain, id'd inventory, ran to stash.... i find a nice 4 os sacred targe, a
flawless saph and a junk wand.....

Now, if someone told me about these things happening, i'd probably encourage
them to lay off the pills a little, or to make sure they took the right
ones! But i _know_ i've been takeing the right ones ..... little blue ones,
right? :P

Regards

Jay

Nope, should have taken the red pill.  Welcome to Bnet, home of the lag
monster, been this way for years.
