Diablo 2 Wont open need help

When i try to open Diablo 2 i get this error message Instruction at
"0x00372c43" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not
be written. and durign thr run test it said diablo2 should work with
my comp.

Hi,

A few things i can think of.
Is D2 patched ? If you connect to battlenet then it will patch
automatically. Else go to www.battle.net and navigate to the patches
(probably a pretty big file i'd expect)
Have you tried re-installing the program?
Do you have enough memory on your machine? If you use XP you'll probably
need at least 256 mb ram.

Let us know. Also, this group is pretty well dead nowadays, you may want to
post to AGD2 if this doesn't help.
