So I finally* found a nice 4 socket collosus Voulge yesterday and had
runes for making insight. I was pretty excited as I've never made this
before and knew it would help my son's Necro with his mana issues.
Dropped the runes in and presto....a nice 4 socket Voulge with some
runes in it. No insight.

Is this due to the new ladder seasona dn did they not move all of these
runewords into the non ladder area?

If that's the case, I'm super bummed. After god knows how long of
playing I finally try to make this runeword and I miss by.... 2 days?

sigh

Is there some other explanation?

Insight is a ladder only rune word. If it was made on the ladder,
then it will still be an Insight on the NL, but you can't make it
on NL.

Sorry Dave, You missed by two days. If you had made the insight last
week, it would be good on non-ladder this week, so you should look for
someone who has one who is moving to the new ladder who will give you
his/her old one, like me. I don't have one that's a colossus voulge, but
I do have a couple of ex-ladder insights I'm happy to give away.

If you see one of my hc accounts on line, send me a message and I'll meet
you with an ex-ladder character and give you any of my old stuff you
want. Or you can look for better on one of the trading channels (You'll
not find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy...).

For some reason I thought once they made the new ladder season they
would 'migrate' all the runewords into non ladder. Don't know why I
thouhgt that, but I thought they had done that in previous resets. I
must be mixing up new patches with the new ladder resets.

Thanks for the offer. We're playing sc uswest however , (non ladder
now) so I'll just find me one via trading I guess. I had completely
forgotten that this may not work since the ladder reset. Heck I
haven't even started a new characer in the aldder yet, was enjoying
helping my son get through act 3 hell.

Thanks for the info, once I saw it 'not work' I knew I had erred.

During a Ladder reset, _items_ are moved to Non-Ladder, including items
filled with Ladder-Only runewords. The _Ability_ to make Ladder-Only
runewords is reserved for characters playing on the (new) Ladder...
