How about you both be quiet and let the man speak for himself when he comes back. Stop putting words in his mouth that he may want to back up just because either or both of you is higher up on his personal friends list than I may be - if I am still on that list and not the 'other' one. If he thinks I was out of line, let him tell me himself. Only fair, I told him I thought he was out of line, and so am therefore the target of your two loyal wrath's. But if HE thinks it so terriblly mean of me, let him tell me so himself, he should not need your mouths putting words into his. btw, I did put the word Sarky in my header before for a reason, you are supposed to look past the literal words to the underlying questions, which I still feel were legitimate questions. I stayed away from today's Baal-a-thon, figuring I would wait and see how things fall out here. Besides, I pefer playing solo most times, Half the times I showed up was specifically to show my support for Mickey. And now you two are making me out to be stabbing him in the back. I tried to be a good friend, and am now getting called 'leach' for it. I was not going to reply to you, but I thought it might be interesting to see how and what you twist into 'back-stabbing'. I will admit to face-slapping, but not back-stabbing. As I stated before, I thought he was out of line, so I said so. You know, when I first started reading this ng, I was almost positive that you were a sock-puppet of Mickey's, any time he said anything at all, there you were (and are) backing him up. Which isn't in and of itself a 'bad' thing, however you take it way past being 'just a friend'. I truly believe that if he posted that the sky was blue you would be right there within 24-48 hours saying "Oh my! He is right! I just looked up and it IS!!!" Do you have his picture on your wall, or just a scrapbook with every time he deigned to reply to you here in the ng printed out and saved? I do hope your therapist knows about your 'worship' of this man, it may (or may not) help him to help you. btw, I _requested_ that you do something, then you _told_ me not to tell you what to do, can you see the irony here or are you so self-blind that you can not? The guy is struggling right now, and could have used a little support, he got none. Funny though, as soon as all this sh.t started, a few people who haven't made an appearance in AGD in a long time suddenly returned. It seems there are two distinct groups here. The bulk are people who appreciate all that he has done, and then you have 3 or 4 complete idiots, who are allowed to slander him relentlessly and never called to account for it. Usenet heros, with big mouths, talking sh.t on the net they'd never have the balls to say to my face, let alone his. Reading back on all this, he may h ave overreacted a bit, but then again, maybe not so much. All he asked was that people stop flaming a friend of his. Given all that he has done, this wasn't such a HUGE request, now was it? The arsehole rev has a problem with Mickey (i don't know why, nor do i care), not with agd or agd2, he just spams various newsgroups to "get even" (i guess) wih people who vehemently disagree with his views (Cite: A.gossip.royalty,and A.abortion). In the 5-6 years i've been reading this group, not once has Mickey _ever_ had a problem telling someone how he felt. VD and Polarhound are trolls, plain and simple. As such their collective posts aren't worth responding to IMO. I agree that Mickey has done alot to help keep a core group of these newsgroups together (items,games,PCM etc), however, if not Mickey, others would of filled the void, plain and simple. Just fyi, i've not once recieved a item of Mickey. I have traded Mickey for a Ist, paying 13/14 pgems for it, when the going rate was 5 HR/40 pgem, a Ist being worth 2 HR. Note that i also gave him a link to the ToS page on battle.net with the advice that if he still desired a bot, to visit the GFY page. _Anytime anyone_ comes into these groups and asks for bots/hacks, i will respond in kind, regardless of who they are/aren't friends with.... I don't care. He didn't know? Again i don't care. Would he be stupid enough to walk into any random bar and state clearly and loudly that people who support, say Washington Redskins, are inbreads(sic) who could all get FU(d)?? Without first checking to make sure that it wasn't _actually_ where the players hang out for drinks? What would he expect? A polite please don't say that, just because his mate is a bartender there? As i said earlier, Mickey has never hesitated to flame someone, for cheating or whatever (useing a bot is cheating, there can be no arguement about this).
