Has this newsgroup anything to do with the game diablo? I think this group needs some cleanup. You can try motzarella.org. I have a couple groups with them and it was free to sign up, don't know if it still is. They're a little slow but I'd rather use a slow NNTP feed than Google groups. I also use x-privat.org for a couple groups (keeping my options open) but believe that they may have closed the free registration. Might be worth a look if you have no luck with motzarella though.
