Did someone want one of these? For Faith for a Rogue? I found one on a Nilly
run tonight and will keep in for 24 hours in case someone *did* want one,
then I'll give it to Charsi.

Also found Nat's claw, so have the full Nat's set now, (with a 3-socket
coat). It's not up to much though is it?

Cheers,

That would have been me looking for that bow.  Wow!  When shall we meet?
 I, too, am USWSCL.

"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
"I think so, Brain, but shouldn't the bat boy be wearing a cape?"

Just wanted to clarify quickly,...so, for the purposes of socketable
faith bow selection, it's pretty much all about either great bow, or +3
skills elite bow (depedning on merc/player useage)?  I've been muling
away a growing number of 4os shadow bows which I seem to find lots of,
and Ive been spring cleaning the mules lately,...so, there's little
demand (if any) for these shadows?

I wouldn't go that far. My frenzy barb's Xena merc has one in a ward bow,
and she does JUUUUST fine, thank you :)

The thing about the Ward bow is that the Rogue can use it pretty much as
soon as she is level 63 as she has the stats for it. She can't use a GB
until level 71 naturally.

I wouldn't say no to one, it'd make a worthy upgrade to my merc's
current Faith <g>

Shadow Bows are Ok....

For general use (any character) a Great Bow is about the best. It has the
highest damage over time and only has a 107 dex requirement meaning it's not
too high for non-Zons. For a Zon only bow then A Grand Matron Bow with +3
bow skills is the most sought-after although it's very difficult to get to
the 2fpa strafe breakpoint with a GMB. A Matriarchal Bow is the same speed
as a GB (-10) and Faith made in one, equiped on a Strafer, only needs a
further 10% IAS to hit max speed. However, it has less raw damage than the
GMB.

For a Rogue merc, to use at level 63 (Faith req) then a Ward Bow is the most
desirable as the Rogue can equip it without needing a srength boost from her
other gear as it has a low strength requirement; 72. A Rogue can't use a GB
naturally (without +strength items) until level 71.

I only use Great Bows. However, the three most popular are GMB, GB and WB,
for the reasons listed above.
