...And today SweetSpearGirl gets swarmed and killed by a huge pack of beasties surrounding a PI boss with a Might aura, and ends the game with less experience and gold than when she started, and having used *14* fat purples. Well I stopped by a pubbie Baal run later and recovered the exp I lost... not the gold, sadly, and all the other buggers in the game snatched the fat purples that dropped before I could. GRRRRR! > > (Euyfura wasn't too happy either...) I have days like that. I say to myself, "Gee, it would be nice to spend a couple of hours working on a level in Diablo." (I say "gee" -- I'm just that kind of person) I start to play, and I get killed. I pick up my corpse, and in another minute I get killed again. My experience points slide down the scale. After I die five or six times, I say, "Screw this," and exit the game in total disgust. Don't know why this happens. Must be a state of mind thing. |
