Not too shabby. 5 Characters 9 mules, 14 in NM 14 in Hell. Chance of zero UMs = 7% (BARFFFFFF!!!) Well I did get 5 PULs and used one for Chanter armor so I guess 2 of those remaining PULs will have to make an UM. 2 MALs 1 IST 2 GULs, the world is upside down so sings Javert in Les Miserables What's that? Rush another 8 mules? No way!!! I am sick of rushing mules. Hey I don't mind act 1, 3, and 4. It's the long desert treks, even using the cheeze sleeze after Duriel is dead and doubling up on the mules before the chest in Maggot is popped and the alter is kicked and the Tome in the Arcance is read. That's a pain. Then there's the pubbie sleeze by Baal, that has finally taken its toll on my common sense. ARGH!! That's it!! I will have to make do with what I have. Orion Don't waste those Puls. Heck, I'll pay you an Um just to have you on retainer for the next time one of my more fragile builds needs UT help :) -Robert your more fragile builds? what's that mean? That you kill them all in 5 minutes instead of 1 or 2? or you really starting to expriment with some odd ones now that you've conquered it zillions of times. I stand and await my call to duty! OH! I'm almost afraid to say this, but I have to share my happy story; just so you guys know it's possible: (This is since I returned to the game a month or two ago.) First Hell Countess run: Fal Second Hell Countess run: Ko + Um First Hell Hellforge run: Gul [Second Hell Hellforge run: Fal (but we'll ignore that.)] That said, I spent aeons trying to get a Lem or a Mal to drop; but I never saw one. Friends and trades have been the only source of these for me. This either makes me feel very guilty, or costs an arm and a leg. :) Oh well, it seems we rarely find what we're looking for. But then again, that's what makes trading so great! I have 2 other chars ready to do their hell forges but I am afraid to do them, btw, I traded the ist for a gul and immediately cubed to a vex. I traded my Gul for a Mal and a Lem. From a value perspective I probably got robbed, but I had no use for a Gul and was a Mal and a Lem away from two useful runewords. The guy I traded with then cubed up a Vex.
