Over the long weekend, seven, count 'em 7 Shythed Kamikazees moved
forward by Andarial into the hot desert sun. The early morning hours on
Eastern America sees a nice quiet server on the west coast and as long
as the PC and ISP don't give me any problems they will hopefully
continue all the way to the Worldstone Chamber.

The update on the Clan Shythed cast of hardcore heroes on the
non-ladder, all of them in Hell

RangerShythed - Level 81 Ranger Druid (Ancients) - no change
SamKinison - Level 74 Screamer Barb (CVT) - no change
BeeHiveShythed - Level 74Static/Chain Lite Sorc (CVT)  - no change
JrMIssShythed - Level 77 Blizz/Spike Sorc (CVT - up 4 levels
JrJackShythed - Level 75Fanat/Zeal/Smiter Pally (CVT) - up 2
levels
TwoGunShythed - Level 74DoubleThrow Barb (CVT) - up 1 level

And for support when needed: a chanter and a war cry slave are also in
the desert and hoping to sleaze through the hell forge to add some nice
runes to the coffers.

More suport has come along in the way of Misfit from the Land of the
Kiwis having forsaken his NL HC play and donating all of his NL HC gear
to Clan Shythed and placing all else at the disposal of the Clan and
General SamKinison. TwoGun will be singing praises to all of New
Zealand as he throws one set of Gimmers. Perhaps luck will abound and
another set will drop along the journey.

The hero of the weekend was JrMissShythed the cold sorc, who single
handedly cleared the way to the Maggot Lair 3 times to obtain staffs
for 5 characters plus Misfit's ChillKill.

JrMIss also cleared out all the beasts in the outer rooms of catacombs
4 and the entrance area of Andarial's chamber to make battles with the
long thin lizzified gal that much easier for whoever's turn it was to
take her on. Three times she did this so that the kamikazees could
march onwards to the hot desert sun.

At this point it appears that BeeHiveShythed, the static/chain lite
sorc will have the responsibility of leading the crew to Fangskin's
room. Then a tag team with JrMiss should see the chamber emptied out
for a most awesome kicking of the altar by the entire crew. Three runs
should do and then onwards to the intergalactic realm of the arcane.

And BeeHive might also have the honor of leading the team through the
Arcane Sanctuary in hopes of laying the Summoner to an early rest. Keys
of Hate will be gladly welcomed should the Summoner have any stashed
away for the springtime.

Perhaps there will be a rendezvous with the Bongo Dude when it becomes
time to become Tomb Raiders of the Lost Slug. If the timing goes right
Bongo will bring the Bongo Trapper into the realms on Saturday or
Sunday morning and the wall to Tal Rasha's chamber will be open and
ready for amost electrifying battle with the large overgrown ugly God
of Maggots.

OH! OH! OH!

Excellent spot-report Orion, thanks.

I'm pleased that my motley collection of items were of use. It's also
excellent to see you continuing on with ChillKill. He's the only one I'd
been playing in the last 6 months and was a little sad to see him go. Great
that he lives on as an honourary member of Clan Shythed. :-)

You got my email about BringOutYaDead? I hope you weren't still playing him
too. :-(. I got too attached to the name so moved all his gear to a new mule
and deleted him, then re-created him on the ladder. I'm done now, I wont go
back to those accounts. I just missed that name. <g>.

Good luck.

Hey there mate,

The reason I gave Chill Kill a staff from the Maggots was that I had to
run the Maggot Lair 3 times in order to get staffs for my 5 kamikazees.
This just in case any die before the end of act 2 I need them all
capable of reaching Duriel. And the cold sorc pwns the maggot lair like
the Den of Evil pwned Jabber first HC character. Heh! Since 3 runs and
2 PCs = 6 staffs and I had 5 slots and no point in giving the chanter
and cryer any and I saw that Chill Kill needed one, then he got the 6th
one. Hell if I get him through to act 4 that could be another forge.

I haven't played him yet but will seriously consider it seeing as how
he is packed to holy hell.

Maybe Bongo will level him up and bring him through with one of my
chars. His Trapper is waiting at Tal Rasha's tomb for the kamikazee
arrival.

The static/chainLite sorc did do all right in the CVT this AM, just had
to feed Emilio a lot of Kool Aid to keep his sorry a.s alive.

The kamikazees march onwards and I hope they will serve as an
inspiration for all who play the game. Thanks again and you are going
to here many more of those thnx and these stories.

LIVE FOREVER OR DIE TRYING!!

OH! OH! OH!

Indeed.

Well, he's not too bad for HC. He got most of the loot that the Guardian
Skellimancer found. The Gores, Duress, Cresent Moon Phase Blade,
Rockstopper, Spirit Gilded Shield with reasonable resists. Heh! I guess that
is pretty loaded for HC. The plan was to level him to 85 so he can use that
Azurewrath that dropped on maggots lvl 3. However, he has a long way to go
to get there. Actually, he may be better off with that Heaven's Light now
rather than the Cresent Moon. I think he's old enough to use it? It requires
lvl 61. It's only a +2 skills one but still.... <shrug>
