Ashen Shugar - 20 Mar 2006 00:25 GMT Well, I've succumbed to the dark side, and will probably be too busy playing WoW for the next couple of months at least to play D2. So, that leaves me with a bunch of items that would be better off being used by someone. Plus I don't want to have to worry about them expiring on me. Did actually have one expire on me the other day, but that was just a character from the first ladder that was holding what gear from then that I hadn't managed to pass off to other people, and not all that much of it at that.
Anyway, my mule accounts (ladder and non-ladder ones) I'm willing to pass off as a whole if anyone wants them. Pretty much all the items my characters are wearing are up for grabs. I expect I'll keep my F-Orb/Fireball sorc from this ladder and last, but that'd be it, which will leave among other things, the SoJ on my fury-zon (this ladder) up for grabs.

I'm keen Ash, anything I don't need for my three main playing characters I'll pass on to others if that's your wish. misfitnz at gmail dot com.
Have fun with WoW, sorry to see you go.

I could always use a few more mules and extra items are always a welcome addition most specifically any of the ladder only runewords such as Insight and Spirit.

Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

You gave me my first Bonehew on the realms and my barb beat the Dclone with it. You are good luck for me in the D2 universe.
Screaming SamKinison asks if you have an IK armor that you could part with. I think he coudl also use the belt and boots.
I wish you luck in yoru WOW endeavors. Keep reading this ng and come to UT every once in a while when you see that the team is heading is there.
Speaking of WOW, yesterday in WalMart whilst spring shoppign for the kids, we wlaked by the rack with it and my wife said "Look! Warcraft!"
I told her that there will be no new addictions for meand that I look forward to finidhing off my hardcore players and getting a few more UT runs in this ladder (about 100 or so) and then look forward to diminishing the D2 time.
Then I shall await the arrival of D3 and jump on an early bandwagon.
Good luck Ashen, you are a great inspiration here.

I got one recently for my IK sorc I never got around to finishing. Anyway, if you can give me a time I can catch you online, I'll bring my IK barb in and pass over whatever you want.
>I wish you luck in yoru WOW endeavors. Keep reading this ng and come to >UT every once in a while when you see that the team is heading is >there. Oh, I'll keep picking up all the post in here, too much of a pack rat not to. How many of them I read will depend on how many there are and what they're about.

It feels a bit slow at first after D2, but you get used to it. It's sort of good in some ways. You can set your character off doing something then go into the kitchen and make yourself a snack or whatever. : )
>Then I shall await the arrival of D3 and jump on an early bandwagon. I may be back if there's a new D2 ladder. Of course, considering the time it's going to take to clean out all my accounts, I might still be doing that when the next ladder rolls around. ; )

Now when do we hook up?
That is always the tuff part.

This is the account that Sam runs around using. I've been runnign Sam around more than my zon and my wife pretty much has been using the zon when she sneaks on which is hardly at all, jsut for the UT runs that I coax her into.
I'll be on the lookout.

I'd have gotten home from work and had a chance to read the newsgroups. Leave a post so I know to jump on D2 and not WoW.
Or, as it's my day off today, if you're going to be playing D2 within the next 12 hours of the time this post was made, I can probably jump on then. If I see the post before that time that is. WoW's not back up yet, but it should be any hour now. ; )

Heh, I've still got an IK Sorc, a slightly raided summoner and poison necro, lighting fury/charged strike zon, smiter, IK Barb, though Orion has first dibs there. I think there was supposed to be more than that, but I forget at present. : )
What character are you planning on starting with?

Any ladder only words would appeal to me, but more than any other item that is one I would like.

Well, I could do you an insight in an eth Cryptic axe probably. Not sure where it is, but I'm sure I haven't given it away yet. The grief I'm a bit iffy on. Not sure I want to strip that pally. If I'd gotten around to making a grief this ladder it'd be fine but I didn't, so... Give me some time to think on it.

Nor was my smiter all that well tuned. No, my sole claim to fame in this regard was in getting the torches churned out as early in the ladder as I did for someone doing it solo (And working fulltime ; ). First torch was a bit over 30 days after I started the new ladder, which was almost a week late due to the ladder being reset on the 1st day of my 5 day ski trip.

Signature ~shady angel~ when one and only one person perceives a certain reality, and (virtually) all others perceive another, isn't that generally considered "delusional?"

I'll email that hotmail address of yours I guess with the account details. If there's any trouble with that you can email with an alternate address.

It was mainly the Spirit I wanted, as I said to you in email, when the ladder re-set we got a bit carried away giving away ladder-only runewords and left my poor sorc without her Spirit Monarch. She's not so good without it. :-(
