What a nice bunch of miscreants showed up to help me escort the Mrs
thru UT in NL.

Starts off with Pendraig and THEjabber

Before I continue please forgive me if I overlook anyone or get the
names off a little.

Jabber still has HolyStarsBatman, one of my favorites. Pendraig had a
Pally of Westmarch fame obviously (HF Zealot).

Jabber offered me the Beast and other godly axe for me to bring
Axminster into the show. However I felt the weapons would be far more
useful on the Batman (BF sasin). A barb that I have there is mostly
going to be Howling the Beasts away and applying an IK maul. That would
be SamKinison OH! OH! OH!

Mrs Orion Ryder, better know as TazTracey to some is in control of
AuntShythed a LFPlaguazon. Tuff dame, level 40 LF and level 37 Plague,
and an INSIGHT merc whish is alwasy ncie to have in NL.

I head into PCM and there are others there with some NL chars. Forgive
me but lets see if I can remember. Someone correct or addin info here.
There was a necro somethingTrust. funny I did not notice the necro till
1/2way in the adventure. There was discussion as to how LT was going to
be cast and perhaps the player for the necro was afk at the time. Was
that necro aryala? Let's see who were the players in PCM at the time I
was there. There was Aryala, Alana and GodReturns. I think two of them
made it in with some NL character. One had a sorc of some type there. I
really have to keep a pad and pen handy to write down names down for
the story afterwards.

So we start off with six, I think. Me, the MRs, pendraig, jabber, and
aryala and alana I think

Izzy up first and we did a mighty fine job of moving along. Sam stunned
as many beasts as possible and had Berzerk turned on from the moment he
walked in there. Lotta LF and Plague going off, lotta Blade Fury, lotta
sorc stuff I think, lotta poison etc from necro and the pally was
Zealing at a quick rate. Izzy died in an instant.

Lillith up next and I must say those Temptresses sure know how to
clutter up areas however once they are War Cried they can do nothing
but take hits and take hits they did. Lillith was a pain in the a.s
enough to clutter up a doorway. A nice batttle, Lillith died.

Duriel was idiotic enough to be a little south of the portal which made
for an interesting battle as spiders and scarabs were joining in.
Miracles happen though and whilst Pendraig and Sam and Batman were on
Duriel somehow my merc took on the minions and did not die. sam howled
them occasionally. The rest of the crew was on the outer fringes
keeping the minions off the meleers. Duriel died.

So now it was time for the Big Show.

We had an excellent plan, really we did. We ran in and stayed up top
whilst someone was going to lure mepf to the top. Well we stayed up
there and someone went to search out mepf and I see someone not moving
by the portal area and go down to look and lo and behold there is the
a.shole Mephistophacles engaging someone. I join in and others join in
and then Baal joined in, that a.shole.

So now there is mepf and Baal. Someone typed get mepf. I moved off and
mepf followed close behind and broke away from his brother Baal but Sam
must have gotten out of range of the Salvation aura of Pendraig's
pally. Sam survived as long as he had rejuvs but those ran out. I think
the sorc died, then the necro, then Sam ran out of pots and he died and
Batman died and Pendraig died. Somehow the Mrs was running AutnShythed
around there and surviving. Damn those zons can be evasive suckers eh?

I had to leave Sam and bring him back. Whilst out I see a whisper from
our Kiwi buddy Misfit. OH YEAH! OH! OH! OH! I give him game and pass
and he shows up. Also I am out of pots so I bring in another char and
proceed to drop 30 full purps for the gang. we needed them. I bring Sam
back in and Shady shows up. BOY OH BOY! THOSE UBERS ARE IN TROUBLE NOW!
OH! OH! OH! CHILLBILL AND DEGADEARTH ARE HERE!!(sorry shady i got name
wrong a little bit).

Well a refresh on the BO and someone haeds in and guess what? mepf
died. The Aunt runs out of pots and perishes and leaves and rejoins. We
all end up back in there in battle. Now somewhere along the way we lost
Jabber. I could not see anything on message log so whatever happened
hwppened whislt I was reloading characters for pots etc.

That place was swamped now. But we all managed to work our way down to
where Diablo was engaged with Pendraig and Bill and Dearth. Boy oh boy,
things are lot easier when mepf is gone that's for sure. Diablo died.
So now we begin to lay waste to the minions that are cluttering up the
place. Eventually Baal show his sorry a.s and we engageg in a long long
battle with him. Even the Mrs had AutnShythed up close jabbing away.
She said there were so many LIs that she figured she might as well join
in on Baal.

It sure was funny. Howl three times and watch the beasts run away, even
holy freezed they ran away. And then upon returning they would walk
slow and Sam could get some IK swings in. Then another three Howls and
they'd be off again. Pendraig, Misfit, Shady and Sam and the Mrs were
on Baal. The others were nearby doing their work. You can't see them
becuz you are keeping an eye on your immediate vicinity but they are
there casting LT or sorcing or whatever. Anyway Baal died. And we
finished off the rest of the minions for the fun of it. At the end Ell
had a character in town but by then the ubers were dead. I did not even
notice the char in town till after Baal's death, that's how locked up I
was in the battle.

Overall the lag factor on a scale of 1 to 10 was prolly at about a 6,
not totally awful but not great. As fas as I am concerned if there is
just enough lag for the server to miss very important keystrokes that
you are trying to transmit and if this happens at the wrong time then
it not a good time and death will sometimes occur at that wrong time.

The winner of the torch was the NL DeadHeadShythed, just great - not.

Well my wife had a much better time, primarily because I did not have a
necro in there like last week. As I learned myself through the years
playing with a necro in the party takes some getting use to. And she
got to do a lot of running around and battling in the lesser areas and
in UT which is something that she enjoys doing.

Anyway my wife is eternally grateful, I just want to emphasizem to all
those that came and played. and of course I am also, for those that
showed a helped my wife have a fun and enjoyable time in UT.

That is the end of the NL keysets. My wife shall surely join in on some
ladder runs on the west. She will play TazmaniaShythed and she will
surely have a good time.

And on the East I have her/our zon TazTracey now heading into NM and I
shall be rushing her ASAP so that she can join in on a UT run in the
East as well.
