when one and only one person perceives a certain reality, and (virtually)
all others perceive another, isn't that generally considered "delusional?"

Bummer! Shame they don't get dropped in NM or normal, I know that running
hell Nilly (especially) can be very difficult. I use my necro, and lvl 35
CE, most of the time I don't see him. However, those poison snakes still
manage to kill my merc. :-(

Merc Shmerc!

When my merc is damn fool enuff to walk thru that cloud I just let him
RIP.

People have complained that those Vipers take out an army of skellies
and revives in no time but I have never seen that happen. Of course it
might have to do with the sheer number I have by the time I get there.
Even the times I am not up to full army I have no problem plowing
through them. But then again you prolly know this and do this yourself
given your propensity to necrotize the lands of Diablo.

Of course it is always nice to have that Might aura cooking but if
stupid Kasim prefers to sleep and dream of getting his hair and nails
done instead of killing beasts hey who am I to stop him?

Sorry you missed the adventure Saturday. There will be another one
sometime. I expect a great party then.

Same here, I just carry on with skellies, 7 mages (1 hard point) and
revives.

Aye. I really notice the lack of kill-power when the merc and his might aura
are absent. The skellies seem to take twice as long to kill things.

Cool. Time-zones are a female dog. Especially when you take into account my
largely nocturnal habits as well.

I trust you know the snakes' damage is physical, not poison.  Damage
reduction of 50 or so seems to eliminate the effect of the bug.

Part of the problem is probably that you're running alone. It helps a
lot to have a few more players in the game. In fact, it seems the odds
as predicted by various sites are a bit off in regards to key drop rates
in games with 1 player.

That being said, key drop rates seem to go in cycles on B.net. I say
this as someone who has gotten enough keys for about 50 UT runs by now.
You tend to really notice this when you have 22 Destruction keys, 12
Terror and 2 Hate keys. :-p Key holders run hot and cold, much like the
drop rates of various items on B.net. Since I'm always running all three
in games, the pattern is pretty easy to see.

Anyway, if you want to really improve key drop rates, the best thing to
do is hook up with 2 other people and each of your run one key holder in
a series of runs. You can each keep whatever you get or trade amongst
yourselves or with others. This shouldn't be too hard to do either
inside or outside the AGD community. You can probably go into a public
channel and say you want to run one of the key holders and ask if two
other people want to run the other two and find some takers.

Such is life when your randomizer isn't random. It is for that reason
that I do not bother much running for T or H keys. The rate at which I
find D keys is more than sufficient, given the fact that I can trade
them (2 T or 3 H for 1 D) for the lessers faster than I could find
them.

Thanks for the advise. I have my second computer I can bring in, I'll try
that next time.
