Ya know, it's a great game that you can play for 6 years and find yourself
laughing your a.s off. So what, you ask, can make me laugh that hard? Well,
being that you asked....

I decided to make a char to do the Baal quest for a bunch of mules. Elly and
Tae would supply the mules, I would supply the character to get the Baal
quest in normal and NM mode. With this in mind, I whipped out what I
consider to be the single best set in the game. A small tangent here....
Those who have been here all along know that I have a different concept of
what constitutes a great item. Yes, a Windforce is a lovely item.... if you
happen to have an Amazon.... if she happens to be a high
level.....but this does not, to my way of thinking, constitute a great item.
Now, a 35%RA Vipermagi with a 15%RA jewel (which means it is STILL a level
29 item), THAT'S a GREAT item. So back to my Angelic set. With the help of
Tae and her host of team UWW mules, I managed to collect 4 jewels with 9 max
damage (level 9 requirement). I did a few Tristram runs to get to level 12,
and put on the following gear:

Angelic set, 2 rings, armor and weapon with 9 Max jewel
Biggin's Bonnet with a 9 Max jewel
Sigon's Gloves
Sigon's Boots
Sigon's Shield (9 Max jewel)

Rare belt with 2 high resists, 4 STR and 18 life

Well, the term hot knife through butter just doesn't quite cover it. without
investing a SINGLE point in Dex, I had a to-hit of 95% all the way through
normal mode. Max resists, 250 damage, IAS, 140%MF, ah the list goes on and
on. I took out the minions and Baal in a full game without losing a point in
life. Once I got high enough, I put on a blessed hand of light and templar's
might, left the rest in place and killed the throne room and Baal in a full
game in NM mode, and now all the mules are ready for
the rocket ride to the forge. I had SO much fun with this, I am in the
process of doing it again :)
