I. Prelude to an Interesting Night
Started the level 90 zon off in baal runs. Hope to hit level 91. The
wife will feel more compelled to play her if the zon has just leveled.
Otherwise the guilt of death might effect her game play. I just want to
see her having fun.
A reminder was given to me by the game that LF is tough to get off when
surrounded by 6 DKs and Temptresses as well as it is also hard to run
away. Actually had to pull a hardcore exit. After about 5 or 6 runs the
pubbies seemed to shut down on the Baal runs and it was time to head to
the UWW gang.
Sam Kinison then had some fun in a "family entertainment" game
where a few sexual riffs were hurled around by the players and
enjoyment and laughs were had by all. Mickey realized he needed a UT
fix. Hey as far as I'm concerned anything to help quell that urge to
smoke. Power to ya Mick. I am cheering you on buddy.
And kudos to my 5 year old son Nik who had a chance to play Sam in the
Throne room during one of the runs.
II. Forgotten Strategy at the Forgotton Sands:
For the person that ran into the Sands before everybody else. As
Charlie Chan would say: "Suggestion please, failure to not make
haste, give monster opportunity to make waste."
We are all heroes and we are all heroes together.
Yay rah rah Team UWW.
Sis boom bah Team UWW.
Not everyone is looking at the part screen and sees that someone has
gone off to engage Duriel in the Forgotten Sands.
Not everybody is looking at the screen messages and sees that someone
has died, especially during preparations.
Please have pity on the poor javazon. She is not built like some of
these other "strong" players. But she longs to contribute to the
adventure. Granted she has success with her dodge and avoid and evade.
Take full adavantage of her three minions, the merc, the valk and the
decoy (yes even the decoy). And in some locations Slow Missiles is a
god send.
Even aginst Duriel, having the zon and her three pieces of cannon
fodder will give Duriel 3 or sometimes 4 more targets to spread his
damage around and keep anyone there alive longer.
III. The Kids in the Kitchen
I missed the first 75% of the Furnace because Tyler attempted to pour
himself a bowl of Lucky Charms and I had to break off to clean up the
mess. Returned in time to join in the fun of a few pack kills as well
as the Izzualized one.
IV. The Matron's Den of Lost Party Members
Yes I did find it odd that we did not continue straight on that long
leg and after turning to follow the crowd I did notice that
UnstableMass was off in the area that I thought we were going to go to.
Taz asks "Mass?". Mass replies "hereherehere". Now to me this
meant that Mass was engaged with Lillith. RUN!! (Everyone runs to the
area Mass was in)
Before I continue I would like to make a suggestion. Having to type
"Lillith" or "Here" or even "Over here" can be burdensome
on one engaged with an uber. And forget the number keys for "help
me". With my deafness I am not gonna hear that. I suggest the
following. Something like
"ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd"
or "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
is very easy to type. It can be any letter - anything - and it is a lot
easier than having to type a message. I suggest if someone is engaged
that an SOS be something like that. It will be quick and easy and the
others will then know that they have to get there to engage. Did I
mention that it would be very fast and sometimes that 1 or2 second
difference can make a difference.
Anyway that was an interesting battle with Lillith. The merc died fast.
If I recall everyone's merc died. Maybe there was one up. The
temptresses in the doorway seemed to be in that prime location where my
LF could not hit them or even the Plague. Really screwed up. I even had
trouble getting the decoy up in specific locations probably because the
room had so much crap in it. Slow missiles seemed to not even work as
it was really hard to actually click on them or even near them. The
deck was stacked against us but we still prevailed.
But what the hell is up with that "Evil Force" that is killing when
Lillith is engaged?
Although the zon does not give out as much damage as others, it all
adds up and I just try to add mine in whenever possible because you can
never tell when that extra 5K from a Charged Strike is going to be the
straw that breaks the bitch's back.
And it was fun watching those traps go off Mick. At one point I only
saw you. For some odd reason I could not determine the other meleers in
the room. It was a tight fit and for all I know they could have been
standing in the doorway Smiting the crap out of her.
All parts obtained. Next up - UT

It's called her poison attack. Even with high poison resists it's
apparently powerful enough to empty the life ball in mere seconds. One
more hit by her physical attack (which is the most powerful of any of the
Ubers), or of one of the minions surrounding her (if you didn't already
clear these out) is then enough to kill you.

Ah, I thought Mickey solo-ed Matron's Den with the Trapper. That's perhaps
something I should try, although I'm afraid Lilith herself will be quite a
problem. ;) If you had a Smiter with you, I'm quite sure he's the one who
inflicted the most damage on Lilith...

Patrick.
