Hell Mule or viable Sorc build?

Well a while back I decided to make another Blizzard sorc.  Somewhere along
the way I guess I failed to really plan out my build and I fear I've stuffed
it up badly enough that he may just be another hell mule at this point.

I've gone ahead and maxxed blizzard with about 8 points in Glacial Spike and
so far about 7? in cold mastery for synergies.  I've got about 10 in static
field also with just single points in warmth and the second sorc armour.

The problem lies in the fact that I was adding all my skill points into
energy without really thinking about it.  I've come to realize/recall that a
blizzard sorc really needs very little in the way of mana, yet I have it in
spades.

My vit is nearly base, I think I've only added maybe 10 points there.  The
rest went to get my str to 60 and energy for the rest.

Options?  I was wondering if I could put all my energy to use by either 1)
Cranking up energy Shield, but I fear without enough telekinesis synergy
points it may not work well or 2) Trying to get a decent fireball.

I'm around level 51 at his point so I have some* wiggle room left on skill
points.

She is killing just fine in the end of act 3 in nm right now, but I fear hell
will be a different story.  I had been hopping to add a fire skill to
compliment the blizzard/static I currently have but am questioning my build
around now.

Any opinions on where my best path is from here?

Thanks,
Dave

Sounds bad old friend. Now, had you also opted for ES, all that mana would
be useful. Now, you could still play her, but she wouldn't be nearly as
hearty as most. my sorc uses FB and GS, skills that do eat mana, and
survives nicely on base energy. This means I have a hair over 2k life (it
would be more, but I needed STR for my Spirit shield), and can usually take
one hell of a pounding. She only dies on Fridays, for the obvious reasons.
Are you still on east or have you migrated west? If so, just get a char to
lvl 24 without or 25 with (old men) and give me a holler, I will have you to
75 in 3 hours or less, and you can go from there.

Hell mule.  I don't see any way to rescue this girl and make her
Hell-viable without godly items and/or a friendly and supportive team.
Personally, I never put more than one hard point in Static as it is so
risky and ineffective in Hell, but then I only play HC -- it may be
more viable in SC.

If you want to try to rescue her, put all stat points in vit from now
on, one point in ES, and the rest in Chain and LM.  At least you'll be
able to kill anything that's not LI CI fairly quickly.

While pondering glazed doughnuts royls@telus.net mistakenly typed

Well, I started another one last night, but I'm an infrequent player so it
will take me a while.  I'll still push the last char to hell for the sake of
muling thought.  Thanks for the input to all.
