Hey thanks for stopping in the other day. Sorry but some family just
pulled into the driveway and I had to go and load the kids into our van
and head off to a family party.

Too bad we got bumped from the game. And when I loaded the necro back
in the next day it looks like the javs ended up back on your character.

That was bad. That game drop was clear outta nowhere. Hope you were
able to get back in without a long wait. At least I ended up off line
to go to the party.

See ya soon

Nice to finally run into you online. I suspect the game crashing was my
fault - too many games between the 2 pcs too quickly. I did end up with the
Titan's again - but I have 6-7 so I ended up giving it away. That became my
theme for the weekend. Anything I couldn't use was given away.

Saturday must have been 'zon drop day. I got 5 Kukos over 3 hours of playing
(plus an Eaglehorn and the Titan's). All now happily nestled in their new
homes/characters.

I'm still holding the necro gear for you - no hurry on picking it up, I have
a few spare Leorics. I don't know what your sorc uses, or what level she is
now, so I may have some stuff for her too.

Thanks for the gear last night.

Oh my God, when I typed that there was free junk in the camp I meant
the junk that I dropped on the ground.

I never expected that those pubbies were going to come running up to
you like you had a bag full of Santa toys to dish out to them. Oops.

See you on east and I look forward to running through parts of Hell
with you.

My pleasure - made room for whatever junk I find next.

I kind of enjoy the frantic seagulls-after-fries frenzy that goes on
whenever the word free gets used.

Besides, it's been a good week of D2. I cashed in my organ sets today for 5
ists and made a COH for my javazon and another 3k+ Fort for my mercs. 4
Forts so far and not one with less than 28 res :)

Now to find some nice eth weapons to make some botd. I may try and hunt down
a nice bow and make a Faith. I've never really played a bowzon -
successfully.

Wow! Good deal. I may forget about mule rushing and just trade organ sets.
Do you (or anyone else) know if this was just a one-off great deal or is it
typical?

Ok, just noticed you said "sets", plural. Mind telling me what the deal was
and the approximate 'value' of organ sets? That's curbed my enthusiasm a bit
as my skellimancer is a bit slow at killing Nilly.

Which Realm?

Mmmm Faith. I've always wanted one of those. Built in a non-amazon-only bow,
then I would get me a rogue merc for my skelly dude. That'd help heaps with
the buggered (sorry, bugged) snakes around Nilly, not having a merc who
rushes in...

Cheers,

US East - sc ladder ... I traded each organ set for an ist. That seems to be
the going rate right now i.e. 3xkey sets = 1 organ set = ist   and 2xIst =
hr where hr = Vex-Zod

There are some variations - some sellers want a little more than 2xIst for
Hr, but I never have to wait for long, typically <10 minutes to get my
price.

Didn't even think of using Faith on a Rogue merc - you've intrigued me. And
that bow could be used on a ranger pally as well ..... or a Chanter ! .....
hmmm, very interesting.

Ok, thanks for the info on the relative value of organ sets. HRs seem about
the same on USW SCL, 2 - 2.333 Ists for a HR. (Although how you're going to
get 0.333 of an Ist... maybe include an Um I guess)

Heh! Glad I got you thinking. I've always wanted fanaticism aura for my
skellymancers army. Imagine the mayhem 13 skellies, 7 mages and 19 revives
with fanaticism could wreak!

I've always wondered the same thing.  I keep thinking that maybe BEAST
on a weapon the necro carries would work well.  I've heard arguements
that losing the +skills from a good wand may hurt the revive/skelly
damage too mcuh though.

So what's the dream gear for a necro (meat grinder).  I'm thinking:
Might Merc:  Bramble for Thorns
Infinity for -- well some serious synergies for everyone.
Andariels visage/ Tals Mask, or something with leach
Nec:   Enigma -- Teleport....mmmm!
         Beast -- Fanatacism
      Lots of +skill gear...

 What am I missing?

That would be awesome if you could still get RS and SM up into the 30's
without any +skills in the weapon slot. I don't know that you'd have enough
room in your inventory for skillers as you'd also probably need resists
charms, neither Beast nor Enigma having inate resists. I don't even a
perfect Torch and a perfect Anni would do it. I suppose it depends on your
other gear. You could, for instance, use a Kira's but then you're losing a
potential +2 skills there.

I'd like to try the Faith thing. I might see if I can trade off-ladder and
try it out.......
