Hello ya'll. My teenage stepson (*kpojr720) has been playing on the East US softcore. His friend is also on the East. My stepon's dad plays there with him also. kpojr did start a barb on west US which is good. Anyways, on the East, he does need some help. I can tell by watching him and his dad play. He has a sorc and a pally and a sasin. He has potential. I might make a character on the East and join him sometime but I need to figure out what to build there. I will only make one character. Am considering a Summoner. Maybe I'll build a chanter and War Cry slave to help out also in case we end up trying the uber Tristram trio. I am gonna have to get familiar with the agders that play on the east. Anyways if anyone on the East can help my cause if I happen to show up it would be greatly appreciated. I'd only need help with the main character primarily (so far Necro) since a chanter and War Cry slave are pretty easy to put together. I think the East needs a DeadHeadShythed. This means that I would not be a pest and asking for too much because one character is not going to be begging for all sorts of things - other than the things that will greatly assist that one character. Anyways if I do get on the East my account of course will be *orionryder. As a matter of fact the account is already up. If you are on the East put your account name here and I'll keep a lookout for you. I'll also post when I actually start playing. It might be a few more weeks as I am involved with a few projects on the West as well as making plans ot finish or finish off my non-ladder hardcore characters. Cheers, hope to see ya'll. But hey I am not gonna start another HC project on the east. As for that Lilith baitch, my friend Caal says he thinks an Iron Golem is posion immune. Something I've been considering with my non-ladder necro who has that available as an option given all the plusses he has to summoning skills is whether or not an iron weapon with crushing blow, regardless of grade, if the CB and poison immunity coupled together with a horde of skellys as cannon fodder, if the CB on the weapon would help to get that baitch down fast enough so that your necro could walk away with one of those body parts. Mate, I used to use IK mauls as iron golems to great effect. Enough of them seem to drop so that it's no biggie to use 'em as golem fodder. Crushflanges just don't have the durability. Well, it seems I've not been as observant as I might've been. I just ran through a couple tombs in hell with an iggy and he never went green once. All my skellies did at varying times and I even had to feed my merc an antidote pot (that I saw on the ground) after a particularly bad poisoning from a boss pack of corpse-things. It seems Caal may be right. The progressing is a bit slow; We are building untwinkled chars (no choices) and the ladder economy is new to me. I have a necro (skelly) who is suppose to be a MFer... But I am afraid that the poor cadaver lover dont really understand his mission ! ( he was so f*&?ing proud to bring back home a blue f%$/ing blue belt from his last NM Baal run !! ) Christine is building a Fana-Zeal pally, and beside of my incompetent magic finder necro, i am trying to build another pally that will be either a smiter or another zealot. Perhaps he will learn his trade as he moves through. I will keep you in mind when I find some certain gear specific to necros, smiters and zealers. Your necro's incompetance must be leaking over into my Zon's MF as she does find some nice items but I can't say that she has seen any nice necro items drop. Oh wait! I do have a Trang's armor that I will glady give you if you need it and I just got a +3 Summoning ammy this AM. I will keep your necro and pallies in mind. Me, I have my Zon and a War Cry slave and a Chanter you can keep in mind. If you do get a SOJ count I would be gald to give it a shot with you if Diablo walks the earth. I can bring in a high chanter prior to running my zon in. The zon almost has her and her merc euqipped with some decent crushing blow gear. I have to make my merc that Duress armor and he will then be kicking a little better. I have the runes but I keep forgettting to throw them in the armor I have set aside. I have been spending my mornings before work rushing mules to hellforge. I have 8 in hell and another 9 at NM baal. The extra runes are helping plus running them through has actually dorpped me some nice items. I will keep in touch mon ami. Bon chance.
