All of the information I'm posting is available elsewhere and has likely
been posted before but this is the summary I e-mailed all the UberCarl
members before we did UberTristram. Since we have a few returnees (B.B.,
Jill) who are just getting back into things, I thought it might be
useful to post this. It's handy to print out and review before the
battles as well as to choose gear based on the needs for each battle:
*******************************************************************
Note: for any immunity, the paladin's conviction aura and the
necromancers lower resist run at 1/5 usual effectiveness.
Also, this is not confirmed but I believe reductions in resistance (in
relation to immunities) on items is NOT working at reduced
effectiveness. So, items like the Mang Song, Rainbow Facets, etc. get
their full reduction IMO.
*******************************************************************
Uber Mephisto
Attacks: Lightning, Charged Bolt, Poison Nova, "Skull Missile" (likely
magic attack), Frost Nova, Blizzard, Conviction aura

resistances: immune to lightning and poison (110%), fire, cold and magic
75%
Characteristics: You cannot leech life or mana from him.
Recommended attacks/defense: He chills characters so "cannot be frozen"
gear is important and cold and lightning resistance are helpful in
surviving, regenerates at twice the normal rate

Armor, Teleportation, casts a lower defense curse, decrepify, and blood
mana, duplicates and summons festering appendages
Recommended attacks/defense: Static Field and Crushing Blow
*******************************************************************
Pandemonium Diablo
Attacks: lightning hose (half physical/half lightning), armageddon, fire
nova, cold touch, fire wall, firestorm, charge
melee attack damage: 481-494
hitpoints: 650,000-660,000
resistances: immune to fire (110%), lighting, cold, poison and magic-75%
Characteristics: bone prison, life regeneration at double the normal
rate, taunt (but does nothing)

resistances: 75% for all (including magic)
Characteristics: Holy Freeze aura, regenerates life twice as fast as
usual, 2nd attack has a 100% chance of doing 40-50% physical attack
damage with a stun duration of 1.2 seconds.
Recommended attacks/defense: use of shout, defiance, and life tap
*******************************************************************
Lilith
Attacks: intense poison attack when you are close (100% chance of 33%
poison damage on striking over 9 seconds), high physical damage, poison
spray, poison bolt

twice the normal rate
Recommended attacks/defense: ranged attacks (to avoid poison), antidote
potions, poison resistance and duration reduction gear, physical damage
reduction gear
*******************************************************************
Uber Izual
Attacks: frost nova, melee attack has a 100% chance of 50-80% cold
damage on striking with 4 second chill duration

Not sure what you mean here. "-enemy resist" effects other than
conviction (pally or runeword) and lower resists do not work on
immunities at all until the immunity is broken.
So, items like the Mang Song, Rainbow Facets, etc. get their full
reduction only if an immunity has been broken.

This information (except my opinion on items reductions in resists) is
from the AS. AFAIK, the immunity doesn't need to be broken for the 5%
effect but I could be misunderstanding what is said there.

This has not been my experience but, I could be wrong in my perception.

I thought they still had an effect, but just couldn't break the immunity.

Well, all I can say is that a sorc with a Mang Song could static Uber
Meph. I don't know how that was possible (the paladin in the game was
not running conviction) unless decrepify can break immunity...which I
guess it could possibly do so.

It has been the case for a long time that only LR and Conviction had an
effect on immunities until the immunity was broken.
See this, for example:

However, if you are saying that this changes in UT then I will believe
you. It does seem unlikely that resistances would work differently in
UT than the rest of the game but I have never been there so defer to
you.

This post has the best information about UT that I have seen, you might find
it interesting.
