Patches Question

I'm only playing SP (mainly AR) these days, but I was thinking of
trying out 1.10.

My question is....If I download the new patch and decide to back to
1.09 and AR, is it just a case of copying the old patch back in? I'm
guessing it is, but when I tried copying the 1.09 patch into a pals
laptop, the game wouldn't load and he had to download from BNet.

My guess is that if you install the 1.10 patch and want to revert to 1.09,
you'd have to uninstall, reinstall, then reinstall the 1.09 patch.

"patch_d2.mpq" but there may be other files.
