Okay let's knock it off with the childish giggles.

Anywhos, the wife feels like playing some D2. Those who are married or
involved with someone understand how it works. Given that anytime the
wife or mate says "Hey honey, let's (fill in the blank)" and the blank
happens to be something that we husbands or mates enjoy doing, well
this means that one must jump on that opportunity, if ya'll catch my
drift.

First thing I do is drop her Zon a nice 2 socket helm for her merc and
2 PerfAmythsts for 20 strength for the dude and then a nice polearm
that Bongo dumped the other night and her merc is set up to cut through
scaled creatures like a butcher knife through hot potatos.

So the two of we's run through the ancient passageways and up to the
Summit on Mount Arreat and takes on three old men that look fairly
young and onward HO! into the WSK and Throne Room and some bashing and
trashing and fanaticing and convicting and plagueing and furying and
the wife wants to take on Baal and so we go and make mincemeat outta
the Baalific one and he dumps out some nice botos for my wife's zon and
a nice set of throwing knives that I can pass down to my thrower barb.

She exists the game and speaks proudly of her new title of "Destroyer".
Bongo, did not see you on till later but I know you'll be right there
with us  and she knows that we will be doing some more minions runs
before jumping into NM. She also is gonna pop into a NM game to see
what her resists are and then we can determine what she can be given to
grab some more safety.

Let's hear it for my wife!

Well that definitely deserves some conga-rats! I know all about addicting
your partner to your passion. As I type we now have a 3rd account suddenly
crammed full of chars wading, hacking and slashing their way through nm.

Go Mrs Orion! :D
I should get my g/f into D2, but her computer's so old and flaky I
doubt it'd even have the disk space to install it, let alone be able to
run it :(

If possible, let me know when she's going to want to play and I'll be there.
I've been on sporadically lately, so I'm sure it'll be easy to miss you.
B-net seems to be real laggy lately with the new assault of spambots. I lost
another character (replacement MFer) the other day and I'm becoming a bit
frustrated about it all. So my play has been spotty.

Mark

Not a chance. This subject line is as concise a description of my wife as I
could think of.

No Way!

Fire up your Boner, cast Lower Resists, switch to your Barb, bellow out
your War Cry, then switch to your Zon and see if your passive Penetrate
enables your Maiden Spear to Impale.  Keep up the Lower Resists until
any Fire Wall, Chilling Armor, Dodge, Evade, Avoid or Decoy skills fail
her.  (Conversion, Conviction and Concentration will do you better than
Fanaticism here, if my experience is any help.  Make sure you use your
Holy Shield for it's Summon Resist effect, unless you're ready to bring
up a new generation of gamers).

Or if you already have "a new generation of gamers",  try Leap Attack and
lots Faster Cast gear.  Bone Spears will be flying everywhere. Also, if  you
enhance your Teeth, Bone Spear will have a better chance of touching the
target.

... make certain you are not holding your Grandfather or failure is
inevitable.

You *are* a brute!

Keep Gramps outta this, or heart failure might well interfere with the
fun&games.
