Giving money over the internet is not really a good idea IMHO. He may be a
good fellow to play with but how did he come in this situation? Is it really
a drug debt or too much gambling? I have no idea and I wish him good luck to
get out of it. Now about Mickey being so rich and having hundred of
millions, why don't you take care of the situation as you said you would
help him in a message?  It would be a good time to give us a lesson about
you having so much money and being so generous.

I will ask Mickey why Max pretended to be an Irish Catholic in a reply to
the Rev idiot to support you while we all know "cought" he is a Russian Jew.

Ah yes, the anti-Semitic genetic cul-de-sac is back. Haven't KF'd him
yet on this machine, so let me take a whack at it.

I know Reg, he is a good solid citizen, father of 3 with another on the
way, and has simply run into some horrid luck. It can happen to anyone,
but he has friends.

As to why I don't take care of it, please do not presume to know what
arrangements I have made, as you know nothing about anything, not that
you have allowed that to deter you from bloviating in the past.

And finally, just as a little proof of the fact that you're still a
clueless moron, Max is not "cough" a Russian Jew, Max was born and
raised as a Russian Orthodox Catholic.

I will give you this much though, when it comes to being a jackass, you
haven't lost that magic touch.

Sure but I would never ask for money online. He did not exactly did it but
it was a little like and all this while the Rev and you are bullshitting at
each other which make you look like a child with this blablabla with the Rev
who is as childish as you, well not as much but still.... I just smelt a
fish to upper your reputation after all the crap both of you (Rev) can post
in SCJ and SCI and redirected to AGD. How convenient would it be trying to
get a lot of people paying but you Mickey ultimatly filling the gap for the
most part.  I think I already know the end of the story. ;oP

Nobody will never know any number about it and if Regnitto was just another
supporter to help you as the other did lastly. How can you get so many
people to support someone who can post so much idiocies in SCJ and SCI is
over my comprehension. Have you ever think about stopping your useless
hating blablabla in your jewish group? When I saw the number of the messages
you did...well get the idea yourself. Nobody of your usual lickers said
anything about your childish behaviour. No, 100% support and for sure they
did read your message in SCJ and SCI. How can somebody support a psycho in
the first place?

So it is cool. Why are you mad about me saying it is not a good idea to give
money over the internet? If you feel it is ok for you for whatever reason, I
do not see the problem but I see it for other people..

I did not even know about your posts to ADH and I am LOL. So you have
nothing to hide and it is never a bad thing. If I said you were high, it is
not because I searched Google about your previous posts but because I found

The perpetual answer to people like the Rev, who claim Judaism is a race.
Not once, in all our recorded history, has anyone ever managed to change his
race. Max converted to Judaism at age 22, having lost faith in Russian
Orthodox church. My father was the rabbi that handled it.

Conversion to Judaism is not what conversion to Christianity or Catholicism
is. Just to make sure I wasn't off base here, I did a little bit of
research. To convert to most forms of Christianity, someone need merely says
they are a Christian, and that they believe in Christ. Catholicism requires
a little more legwork, in that one also needs to be baptized. Conversion to
Judaism, otoh, is a long, arduous, time consuming process. The usual path
requires 2-4 years. Included in it is the need to learn to read and
understand Hebrew, as well as long and detailed study of Jewish history. For
males, it may also included some serious pain, if they were not circumcised
prior.

That, and giving up bacon, are the two main reasons I never even considered
Judaism. Sorry mickey, but I like my bacon butties waaaaaaaaaay too much.
Converting to Kibology, however, is the easiest thing on Earth...

Bah, only a VERY small percentage of Jews are kosher anymore. I'm not,
that's for sure, as it would interfere with my mission to rid the world of
lobsters. A little Jewish history here. There are two books that most Jews
hold sacred. The first is the Torah, which is the Old Testament. This is
given to us as the word of God. The second is the Talmud, written circa 600
CE, in Iraq by a conclave of rabbis. It is the latter that defines the
dietary laws. These laws include:

No flesh from an animal with a cloven hoof (pigs, deer, etc)
No seafood
No dairy products with meat.

Now, anyone can clearly see these rules were set in place for reasons of
health. Pork contained trichina worms, which lead to trichinosis. Seafood
contains the botulitus bacteria, and milk, which was unpasturized at the
time, contained a great many bacterial agents which interacted with meat.
Judaism, with the exception of the Orthodox, is a progressive religion, and
as we have learned to both cook our food and pasteurize our milk, these
dietary laws are moot, except to the fringe elements of the religion who
cannot distinguish between the word of God and the words of men.

Heh, and you'd a figgered that even way back then that if they were sharp
enough to have made the connection between certain foods and certain health
risks, that they'd also have been able to figger out that cooking the living
sh.t outa the food would have eliminated said risks.  Was there not
something else going on with these food taboos, too?

Nope, that was it. Remember, back then, people tended to like their meat
rather rare. Seafood was often served uncooked altogether. What I find more
amazing is that places like Japan didn't work up some sort of religious
reasons not to eat seafood, but then again, they really didn't have that
option, given that the ocean made up about 80% of their food supply.

Cold-water fish is much safer to eat raw than warm-water fish (and has a
firmer texture). Cold-water tuna goes to the sushi bars; warm-water tuna
gets cooked and put into cans - same fish, but there is a huge difference
between the quality and safety of the meat. I can imagine that the stuff
brought up from the Mediterranean / Red Sea / Persian Gulf is probably
pretty nasty when raw compared to North Pacific varieties. (Fresh-water fish
is even worse for parasites.) Eating shellfish during a red tide will wipe
out an entire tribe, cooked or not.

Very true. While many fish can adjust to cold water, the bacteria they carry
cannot. A great example of this is the Atlantic Cod. It can survive in water
so cold that most other fish would have their blood crystallize. The reason
the cod doesn't is that he produces a protein which acts like anti-freeze
for the blood.

I'll agree with your statement but somewhere in a book was a piece of

Now wether or not you think said book is fiction or not that is a valuable

That licking thing is another anti-Semite ploy. Anyone who doesn't agree
with their hate-filled rhetoric is considered to be licking the a.s of a
Jew. Feel free to do a google on soc.culture.jewish on the word lick or

Bah, do yourself a favor Doc, and don't waste your energy. This little turd
is a DOCUMENTED Jew hater. It doesn't take much effort to google him and
find some of the really outrageously anti-Semitic remarks he has made. He
hates me 3 ways. First, I am a Jew. Second, I am an American (which he also
hates vehemently), and lastly, I have made him look like the a.s that he is
on more occasions than I can easily count. That being the case, not much
that comes out of his mouth vis-a-vis me can be counted on to contain a
nugget of truth.

Of course, if he was more than a troll around here, and actually ever PLAYED
the game, and did so with the AGD/PCM crowd, he'd come to understand just
how foolish his claim that Max and I are the same person. I'm hardly above
tooting my own horn and all that, but even *I* have not yet figured out how
to play 2 characters at the same time, and as countless denizens of PCM have
played in cow games with both Max and I, at the same time, it sort of makes
the claim that I am he or he is me rather laughable :)

Pffff, then I take it you have never seen the duo of an
Indestructoconvictadin with any number of characters (one at a time).

He would walk around with his Pally and Conviction. Max Block, 50%DR,
95% Res, silly Def (20K with Merc I think).

He would also walk around with his chosen caster of the time. Sorc,
Javazon, Trapper etc.

It was quite impressive, to say the least.

Therefore, I must say that you, Mickey are a complete novice at the
game and you should keep any advice and opinions to yourself as you
obviously have absolutely no idea about it. ;)

Not in mine it's not.  At least in D2 it's possible to escape the asshats if
you want to.  If there was some way to play with just you guys and some
like-minded individuals I might agree.  As it is . . .

I see Marshall hasn't lost his knack for exaggerating, hehe.   To date, not
ONE of my regular D2 playing partners has made the move to WOW.   When/if they
do, things might get a little more interesting.   As it was, since I didn't
like the instance dungeons, and had no interest in PVP, I was left with a
glorified online single player game with a rate of progression far too slow
for my tastes as a heavy altoholic (I'm the kind of player who makes 20-30
high level characters per D2 ladder season, just to try out different builds),
which just wasn't that appealing, and paying a monthly fee for a game I was
only playing 2-3 hours per month just didn't make much sense.

Last I heard, you were playing Guild Wars (or was it EQ2?)   How's that
working out?   I'd vowed to not touch that particular title with a ten foot
pole, based on my experience with the previews last year, but D2 is losing a
little of its shine again, so I need something else to play.   I tried Fate,
which looked interesting, but when it came to sign up for the full version, I
got stuck at the signup screen (would you believe it won't accept two word
surnames?), and binned it.   At this stage, even Sacred is starting to look
appealing...

I've actually spent a considerable amount of time playing both.  EQ2 is
probably the deepest of the "true" and semi-true MMORPGs I've played (I'm
talking WoW, EQ2 and CoH here), and the only one I'd be tempted to play
again--actually, I've just cancelled my EQ2 account (for the second time).
But it's still grind grind grind, and I just can't tolerate that for more
than a month or two at a time.  My biggest complaint with all these MMORPGs
is that my playing time is frequently limited to sessions of less than an
hour, and often with these games I find there's simply no point playing at
all if you can't play at least a couple of hours straight.

Wherewith enter Guild Wars, which I've also been playing fairly
extensively--I'll just quote a post I made earlier this evening over on
csiprpg to make things simple and easy on myself, hehe:

"I've played both games fairly extensively.  I enjoy GW's gameplay at least
as much as WoW's (which surprised me to no end, since I was prepared to
dislike GW immensely when I bought it . . . which begs the question 'well,
why did you get it then, dumbass?', to which I'd have to answer that it's
because I'm simply a hopeless RPG junkie who's evidently cursed with
"gottahavititis" where said RPGs are concerned . . . but I digress) and GW
is a helluvalot less aggravating since the way it's set up you can play
without having to put up with any asshats.  Well, you might have to put up
with asshats in the towns a bit, but you can pretty well ignore them
there--and if they get on your nerves too much you can always jump to the
international district, which is almost deserted, at least in PvE play.

Most of the time you can make noticeable progress even with 15-30 minute
sessions.  Be warned though, that some of the co-op missions are l-o-n-g,
and you can lose them right at the very end, forcing you to do them over
again completely--or almost, which so far is about the only thing I've found
to really dislike in GW.

No asshats and no monthly fee--GW all the way."

I don't think it's a "D3" by any means, but GW is well-done, plays on
rock-solid servers, offers much content that allows you to see progress in
short playing sessions, and is damned pretty to boot--probably the prettiest
game around right now.  It has a few warts for sure, like those
"glass-walled canyons" in places, but I've been able to accept them in the
general spirit of the game.  For instance, those "canyons" I mention usually
only occur in places to any great extent where figuring out how to get to
location "x" is part of the game, if you follow what I mean--and no, I'm not
talking anything near like dungeon mazes, either . . . heh, I hate those.

Anyway, for my part I think it's at least worth the price of admittance to
check out.

True, this is because D2 does not have the MM part of MMORPG. It's an online
RPG that consists of a group of chat channels that you can use to meet and
start/join small 8 player games. Of course everyone here knows this
already... just trying to highlight that we're comparing apples and oranges.

I enjoy WoW for what it is, I love the crowds, I love the chatter, I also
love the fact that I can ride to Silithis and grind without seeing or
hearing another living soul for hours. Someone was describing what Ironforge
(near the Auction House) was like to someone who hadn't been there before
and said (from memory)... "it reminds me of the Cantina in Star Wars, busy,
loud, sometimes annoying, and you can see anything and everything there."

I'd place D2 on top of my best games list, I think I had the LOD disk in my
CD drive two years straight. It was an awesome game. Well... I'd place some
FPS games up there also.  :D

Yup, leveling early on is "much" quicker in D2 ... but, reaching max level
in WoW is much easier (less boring) than D2. Crunching through the 90's in
D2... *shudder*.

cheers,
Stu.

Someone had a little dig at me the other day for having 8 chars between 19

also in that range and not to forget the ones on the horde server too.

That was one of the first things I found less than ideal about the game...

Up until a recent spate of occurances here the only time I'd ever heard/read
that word before was in Kurt Vonnegut books. His explaination? Someone who
wears his a.s as a hat.

Wikipedia has this to say about it:

"Asshat is a slightly more trendy and less severe variation of a.shole,
graphically describing someone who has his "head up his a.s" (i.e., not
knowing what's going on), or a variation of "butthead." In the former sense,
it is suggested that one is "wearing one's a.s for a hat", or alternately,
"a hat for one's a.s." A more modern usage of asshat describes a person
doing something stupid, and can apply to anyone: "the boss is up to
asshattery because he broke the computer even though he knew he was doing
the wrong thing."

The word is popular in many online communities, serving as a more palatable
version of its antecedent. According to Google's Usenet statistics, the word
only saw a token appearance every day or two starting in July, 1999, but
following a slow rise in 2002, it entered popular usage in May, 2003. The
pejorative was popularized by Something Awful's Jeff K. and later spread to
online community Fark.com and various Internet Relay Chat communities.

December 20, 2002 saw a graphical representation of an asshat in the online
comic /usr/bin/w00t, whereafter it was used frequently to represent
customers who annoyed the technical support personnel.

More recently, asshat has entered the mainstream vernacular. On March 17,
2005, on The O.C., "asshat" was uttered on network television for the first
time, although this could be disputed as it was said by a litigant in the
closing of a 2004 Judge Mathis episode."

No mention of Vonnegut. However I'm 98% sure I first saw the term in his
1973 book "Breakfast of Champions" (I just had a quick flick through the
book and can't find it but that doesn't mean anything. I may have to read it
again) and the fact that KV provided an explaination of it's meaning and I'd
never heard it before despite being widely read leads me to think he either
coined the term or was largely responsible for making it popular. If it
wasn't in Breakfast of Champions it was in another one of his books from
around the same era.

Heh, I'd like to take credit for it, but it's a fairly common term in the
world of MMORPGs--and like the best of such terms, no explanation or

Odd, I've had FAR less experiences with 'asshats' in WoW, than I ever
did in D2. And there is a vast world in which to escape anywhere you
want to in, nobody can track where you go or what you do. Gameworld
is 100x the size of the tiny and worn-out (as of several years ago) D2
gameworld, and far more interesting in every way conceivable.

Well, WoW's probably a lot better in that respect now than it was when I was
playing it shortly after release . . .  and maybe I just ran into more than
my fair share of ninja looters, high level campers, etc., etc. . . . or
maybe I was just bothered by them more than I should have been.

But that's what my experience was, and playing with you and the rest of the
familiar crew wasn't enough to offset it.

He has to K/F those that make sense.  He doesn't want to see all
of the big holes that we find in his tantrums.  It'll hurt the ego
to much.

Big hole about Max saying he was an Irish Catholic?  If he converted to
Judaism he is no more a Catholic. He said he was an Irish while he is
supposed to be Russian. You recall the big Russian who gets drunk while
playing pool in Mouth's house? So where are the holes? Now go away
mini-Mouth.

I am not French, I speak french and this is a sheep joke for people who can
not stand that the French standed up against the USA's politic in Irak. Look
what happen in England now Your mini-Mouth friends will always agree with
you anyway. I just do not get it that nobody said anything about your
childish behavior in both SCJ and SCI which brought all these spams in AGD.

They prefer to use their KF while it would be a lot simplier to ask you to
just stop posting your 8 years old rhetoric over and over again. Not only we
would have to KF all the one already involved but we would have to KF all
the future posters who will join these meaningless stupid childish
argumentation. Mouth, can I be one of your Mini-Mouth? I already shaved all
my hairs but I am taller than three but I can stand on my knees. I will
always agree with you but please can you just STFU to stop these spamming!

Later Mouth,  Mouhahahahouhahouhaha.

Max never said he was Irish. His mother was, his father was Russian, and he
was born there.

My behavior? ROFL!!! Let's get Paul involved here, he's been prowling SCJ,
and seen the type of moron t he the Rev is. Only an utter fool, DFESPERATE
to make a point would attempt to blame the actions of a stalking troll on
the person being stalked. Youa re SO devoid of any point you could make that
you must resort to THIS type of blame game, serving only to prove what we
all know here already, that you are an impotent little nothing, sitting
behind a keyboard and trolling amoung your betters.

Still the perpetual a.shole, and now a troll to boot, using nyms to bypass
kill files. You will note that not ONE person has come to your defense, or
even agreed with you to the slightest degree, and yet, like the a.shole that
you are, you STILL think you are right and EVERYONE else is wrong.
Furthermore, in each occasions when you have confronted me in a verbal
battle, you have come away looking like an idiot, and just to prove that
looks go deep with this, you prove it by doing it again. You haven't got the
sense of self-preservation that God gave a cockroach, which I find odd given
that you are so like one is so many other ways.

This from a w.nker who changes his posting nick and thus temporarilly
escapes my killfile!

Irony.

Not that this is anyone's business, but I told Reg and flamy this, so it
might as well go out to the general public. Had Reg comes to me 30 days ago
with this problem, I would have simply sent him a check for whatever he
needed. However, something came about the 1st of this month. As flamy can
tell you, there is a condominium project up in north Sarasota that has been
bogged down for years now. As you may or may not know, the housing crunch in
Florida has reach a level not seen before anywhere in the USA. So, on July
1st, I signed a deal to underwrite the entire construction of over 360 condo
units. This tapped my liquid funds hard, and until I get the next dividend
payout (Sept. 1) , I am on a tight leash. None the less, I will find some mo
ney to help Reg out. The real issue here is that we have been a community
here for 8+ years now, and one of our own is in trouble. I think this is a
great opportunity for each member here to do something good. It doesn't have
to be a lot. $25, $50, what ever is comfortable. If each person here gives
just what they can, I think I can find enough to close the gap.

It's not me in particular, he just hates Americans and Jews. As I am both, I
flash brightly on his radar.

Please don't crosspost your silly little flame war to AGW.
I'm quite sure that they don't want to hear about it.

For once, I will top post, so as not to disturb the text below.

You did a good thing. Now it everyone else will do a good thing, however
large or small that might be, I will try to pick up a large portion myself.

Let's for once all act as one. We did it for SETI, and that was nothing
compared to this.

I will leave you are with this little story, in hopes it aspires you to
action:

I have always been something of a believer in Karma. I think it is the
self-centric part of my charitable nature. Now, when I first started playing
Diablo, WAAAAAY back in days, I used to hang around a channel called
"Beginners Only". I met a young lady there, and we got friendly. We stayed
friendly for to this day. One day, while chatting on the phone, she broke
down. It seems her husband, who had at times gotten violent with her had now
started becoming violent with their children, the youngest of which was 3. I
immediately headed down to the Western Union office and wired her $500. I
didn't really have it to give at the time, but I did it anyway. She managed
to get her kids onto a bus, with most of the belongings that really meant
something, and ended up in Indiana with her parents. Not 6 days latter, I
got the offer to sell my business, and that offer was 6 times the number I
had in mind.

Karma?
Coincidence?

I know what *I* think.

I feel really awful. Like Mickey, only on a much smaller scale, if this had
come up 2 weeks ago, I would have been able to offer some considerable aid.
As it is, I just tapped into virtually everything to set my wife up in her
own business. I don't want to insult Reg by sending something stupid like
$10. Hopefully good wishes and prayers will be enough.

Not an insult Chris, a donation. The journey of 10,000 miles begins with but
a single step. Send what you can,. be it $5, $10, it will add up. If every
poster here sent $10 or $25, Reg would have more than enough to get out of
his troubles, with my addition.

Nothing is insulting when it is intended to be helpful.  My Dad used to
say "beggers aren't choosers" and I repeat it lately when bumming a
cigarette or a ride.  Besides, if 10 people sent 10 each... you get the
picture.

Good wishes and prayers are always helpful   :)

Thanks Chris!
