Shiflet - 29 Oct 2003 11:50 GMT Yep, me and Tresa faced the Diablo clone tonight, and sent him back to the pits that spawned him. We were using sorcs, till we found out that didn't do sh.t, so I came back with my ranger. Bolts were worthless, so I figured what the hell, switched over the the BStar and Zak shield, and went toe to toe with him(while Tresa, still using sorc), Orbed away from a safer distance. It took a full belt of rejuvs, but in the end, the clone fell to our holy might. Now I gotta do it again to help her get a charm, sucks that he only drops 1!

Yeah, I need to do some refitting and get one of these semi-retired mules into a fit state to be taking on the clone without having to call on a third party.
By the way, I'm loving the new Holy Shield. I took the zealot out for a wander around acts 2,4,5 today and just loved cleaving away without nary a blocking animation in sight. It's great having 9K defense while wearing a wealth armour.

How did you decide who should get the charm? :-)

>: How did you decide who should get the charm? :-) I was there so I got it. Plus, we couldn't beat him until I got my pally;-)

- Blessed Hammer - Increased high-level damage. Ignores resistances of Undead and Demons. Added skill synergy bonuses - Fist of the Heavens - Ignores resistances of Undead and Demons. Added skill synergy bonuses.

Last I checked, Diablo was still a demon.

Okay, so he snatched it up, but I *would* have given it to him. He did all the work. My sorc was all but useless against the clone. The next one is MINE, though, D. ;-)

If I'm playing with one of my regular groups, I use the 3 second rule.
Once I see an item drop, I count off 3 seconds. If noone elese takes it, I grab it. If it isn't something I can use, I hand it off ASAP.
I've probably given away a lot more stuff than I've kept on the ladder. It does come back to me as well. I gave this one sorc in some random coop game a Ral she needed in A3 to make Leaf. Later after Ormus handed out his crap, she gave me the 4LL/AR/FCR/Res ring she got from him without me even asking.
