they have bugs in their freakin rust storm!

Lost my gherks pavise - no big deal except is was a freaking orignal 1.03
gherks so added 800 hp to my mf barb. Fsking idiots can't tell the freaking
difference between a legit old version unique and hexes.

yep it's pretty much neutred a perfectly balanced mf char - I'd even kept it
pristine by refusing to socket it. Putting a SS on him just won't be the
same.

Oh I gave my titan a run - still an awesome build except for the iron maiden
in WK, did you ever rebuild yours?

I'd planned to visit baal with my mf barb second (my CD2 strafe girl did it
without too many problems - the ambush on wk4 stairs gave me a fright
though) but now this barb really needs to be rethought. Putting his 85
spare points into vit will help recoup some of the loss (which on recount
was actually higher than 800 hp) but damn I didn't want to do that :( and
there's a big hole in his mdr now.

Does it suck more to know that if you had socketed it, you might still
have it? My husband managed to keep all of his .08 and earlier gear,
including known dupes, with sockets (set) while everything unsocketed
got zapped.

nope, because it simply can't suck any more than it does :|

weird that socketted dupes have survived - definitely a mistake in their
programming to have done that. Oh well I might just write them an email and
see if it does any good. Ironically right now I'm playing with two of the
people I was playing with when it dropped, so all is not bad in the world of
D

Stop making up version numbers! ;-) I waited a couple of days before posting
that so I wouldn't fall victim to the wrath of tcells. :-)

LoL, seems I got my veriosn wrong, it was 1.07 (I'll go with SvH on that)
and if that number should be wrong, the first day of LoD was when it was
found, on the road to the Tamoe Highlands. We also had a saz basinet and
rockstopper drop just prior to it.

Wasn't 1.07 the one that only lasted a few days? I'm wondering if the 1.07
items were on the legit items list in the Rust Storm database.

I think it was even less than a few days, I expect your guess about lists is
correct.
