So I was just fecking about doing baal runs and the likes and guess
what I found?

A jeweller's Dusk Shroud of the Whale!!!!
4 sox and 94 to life. Current offer is about 20 32020s but a guy is
saying he's gonn aoffer 30. 30 x 302020s equals to around 150HRs.
Here's a link:

Yeah, cause lord knows nobody else here has ever use dupes.

Besides, where did he say he doesn't think they are dupes?

Personally, I think even trading that many duped charms/runes for that piece
of armor is insane, hell, if I HAD that armor I wouldn't even use it.

Indeed.   An armour such as that really needs to be socketed with high end
jewels, otherwise it's inferior to a ton of other armours.   Still, such is
the trade scene - totally bizarre.

Well, even if I had 4 of every possible high end jewel in the game at my
disposal I doubt I'd ever find a use for that thing if I had a full
selection of other armors...
~DaN~ - 24 Jun 2005 10:51 GMT
I think we've all established I'm getting offered dupes here, but do I
care much...NO! I play NON-Ladder, Europe  where it is extremely
difficult to even own a character that hasn't got some dupe or glitched
item on them. That is just the trade scene on NL so get over it, if i
felt like being slaughtered by the hack police I'd go on Ladder. I'd
rather trade my armour for 20 32020s, or "3/20/20s" or 322s doesn't
really matter, than trading it for what'll end up being dupes in one
form or another. I'm done with trading legitly on NL, what you end up
with is a botd, beast, doom ba and an Enigma. Dupes Anyone? I don't
know anyone from this group that plays EUNLSC otherwise I would've
offered up for trade here first but what they would've offered me
would've more than likely have been involving something that is duped.

Finding a 4 socketed dusk shroud means nothing isn't what this is
about, it's the +94 to life that makes this so precious as well as the
fact that you can't "shop it" using a shop module. It's very much like
the Jeweller's Monarch of Deflection.

As to what this armour would be gettig used at would either be a
sorc/elemental dueller i.e. 5/5 facets or for a kickass bowazon,
javazon armour i.e. 40/15s.

One thing i do agree on is the English-trade lexicon. I'd love one of
those...

94 life, big deal. I can think of a dozen other things I'd rather have.

> as well as the fact that you can't "shop it" using a shop module.

So? You might not be able to shop a cruel tomb wand of the leech either,
doesn't mean I'd want one.

> As to what this armour would be gettig used at would either be a

You do that and you're giving up resists, defense, and a host of other mods.
You'll get yourself schooled by the same sorc/elemental dueler using a CoH.

> or for a kickass bowazon, javazon armour i.e. 40/15s.

And any decent paladin will f.ck those builds up easily.

So you're just disagreeing to disagree. What stupid answers. What do I
care, I'm trading it not keeping it.

Dol, Um, Ber and Ist?

The only problem with a superior one is the repair bill.

>Dol, Um, Ber and Ist?

+2 To All Skills
+200% Damage To Demons
+100% Damage To Undead
8% Life Stolen Per Hit
+70% Enhanced Defense
+20 To Strength
Replenish Life +7
All Resistances +65
Damage Reduced By 8%
25% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items

At least you know for sure what you're getting, but this is more of a
melee oriented armor (although for safety reasons it's also quite nice for
casters).

>The only problem with a superior one is the repair bill.

That's what I heard, and the reason I put my Fortitude not in a superior
4-socket armor (I have plenty of those lying around), but in a plain (but
rather close to max def) Archon Plate.

Regards,

Patrick.

Actually, I found a 513 defense (or was it 516) archon the other day.   No
sockets in it yet, though.

Not to mention a wc39 and a whole bunch of other stuff mentioned on that
thread. We need a trade forum-English lexicon.
