So there I am, taking the Illyrian beekeeper around act 1 and 2 to collect a
couple of her missing waypoints and to level up.   Along the way, a green
ornate plate (griswold's) and a golden yari (hone sundan) drops.   I'm
thinking to myself, "self, this might be a good seed".   Since the game is
well permed ar this point, I leave with the beekeeper and bring in a couple of
other characters that are more suited to various tasks, not withstanding the
fact that the beekeeper isn't sufficiently advanced to hit targets such as the
council or mephisto anyway.

In comes Yamila the Blizzard sorceress, and in short order, Andariel and
Mephisto meet and unfortunate end.   Andariel drops a couple of useless rares
and not much else.   But my old pal Meph coughs up not one, not two, but three
unique items... unfortunately none of them are keepers.   But I'm sufficiently
encouraged regardless (silly boy).   Out goes Yamila and in comes Moozak the
singer barbarian.    The travincal council soon exit stage left, but there's
not much happening there in terms of plundah.   So it's off to the Kurast
Bazaar for a date with Sarina the Barmaid.   Mooz nets 2.5 million experience
for the trip, but not a single good item.   But I'm still on the hunt, so it's
off to see Fire Eye that Moozak goes.   Just to keep things interesting, he
drops two set items.   But again, nothing that I want.

Out goes Moozak and in comes Shaeko the fire sorceress, and Eldritch and Shenk
are fried.   Nothing happening there, but I figure I'll hit Pindleskin, just
in case.   Hmmm, no go, as I'd forgotten that the beekeeper started the game,
and is at the beginning of act 3, so there's no Pindle portal.   But no
matter, there's been enough gold and green action going that I'll find
something ELSE to nuke.   Out goes Shaeko and back in comes Yamila the
Blizzard sorceress, and it's off to the Ancient Tunnels.   She nets a level up
in the process, But about all that's happening there is a humble Crainte Vomir
sword.

Bah, for a game that showed so much promise in terms of gold and greens, all I
have to show for it are three items that I'd had plenty of already.

LOL. Hey, that's a lot better than some of my MFing experiences recently.
Hone Sundan's are always handy.

I had to laugh last night, I showed Bongo-Fury what my HC necro is wearing
for MF (A P-Topazed 4 socket wire fleece and 3 socket mask) and he said
"Ghetto MF gear". Oh well, it made me laugh. Like I said to him, I'd much
rather have a Skulders and a Harly but I'm poor as a church mouse in HC.
Apparently a Skulders goes for an Um, the highest rune I have is a Lum so
I'm a little way off buying, I'll have to find my stuff. I'll just have to
get some of AGD's luck off Kaytie for a while and take it to HC.

They most certainly are, when you don't already have a few of them, hehehe.

I think I may have managed to snatch back a little more, as one of the council
just dropped a poison facet.

Cool!! I found two facet's early on in my BNet playing career, both poison,
then, after I met Kaytie, nothing for ages. The last one I saw was in a game
with Jabber a few months ago and he got it. Cold I think.
