change in char expiration?

I just took two characters into chat and the countdown went away. Now as far
as I remember it was in game once every 90 days. Anybody know anything?

I haven't seen anything advertised, but this does seem to work just as
entering a game did. I'm not sure when I last took the last batch of chars
I lost into a game though.

It's been that way for a while now, although I can't say for sure how long.

heck i even just went to lobby and the counter went away. one has to wonder
if its just the display and not the bcm counter reseting

pretty sure it's the real thing, since I usually don't join games and if it
were just the displayed counter my chars would have been lost several 90 day
cycles ago
