I've only played assassins a little and might answer wrong, but I'm sure
I'll be corrected if I do. :-) Anyway, I'm pretty sure kicks leech, at
least for general leech items like gloves, etc. that have leech.
As far as finishers go--most of the time I just used a normal attack, since
that was all I needed. Sometimes I'd use Dragon Tail and Phoenix Strike for
bosses, or when I needed to teleport, but mostly just normal attack. :-)
Be careful about using Phoenix Strike--it can get you in deep doodoo. :-)

Er, Dragon Flight, that is--which you have to watch about porting into the
midst of a pack of baddies, and no way to port back out.

Heh, you can port back out, but you have to wait a second before that SHITTY
delay is over. So far my PS Assassin's favorite finisher is DF. I've been
just teleporting from one side of the pack to the other, releasing whatever
charge happens to be ready. My chance-to-hit is horrendous, so I really
never know which one its going to be. That and getting myself confused with
the Shadow, I never can tell who's got what charge when she's standing close
:)

It depends on which itam your leech resides. Leech on a weapon will do you
no good.

Depends on your other skills and what build.

Leech on the first weapon equipped does work. But the weapon's
base and enhanced damage is irrelevant to the calculation.
The base and enhanced physical damage of the kick depends
on boot type, strength (a lot), dex (a little), and the skill/level.
>> Another question: Whats the best finisher for a weapon/shield assa?
It depends on strategy. In 1.10, one good strategy is just
using Dragon Talon with no charge-ups. It can be
the fastest melee attack in the game as measured by
avg. # attacks/second, and Dragon Talon alone gives better
damage per second than Dragon Talon plus Tiger Strike charge-up.
Charge-up builds are tough on 1.10 hell level because you
need to melee and the overall sequence of charge-up plus
finisher is pretty slow compared to the available damage.
Since charge-ups only release on the first charge, a
charge-up oriented build will want a finisher that is faster
from sequence start to finish than Dragon Talon.
For dual claw charge-up builds, Dragon Claw is a good choice.
The OP asked about weapon/Shield though and that is tough to
answer well. One possibility is to just use normal attack
and boost the AR with a combination of claw mastery and gear.

My PS Assassin uses either DF, or normal attack.
DF seems to miss more than it should though.

I'm tellin' ya's, most of the time there just ain't no real good reason to
show 'em more muscle than ya gotta! That means ya's finishes wit' ya normal
attack!
