I decided that since I had drunk way too much coffee, and since I had a sin
in a1 hell, I would play a lot last night. And I did. It sure helps when the
whole gang is there, bar whitedog: through the night we had Me, Ash, Hammy,
Grimp, LC, Robbie, Jerry, xylphz, Almighty Orion of Doom, Tae, and wezzer.
Oh, and short, but he's short.
The funniest part of the night was the new Olympic event we created:
synchronised dying. After Andy, every time Ash or I died, the other would
follow suit forthwith, even if we were in different screens. This continued
until he went to sleep like A WUSSU BABY.
Despite fairly frequent deaths, it was a relatively uneventful evening.
Phoenix Strike continues to kick a.s, although in big Clusterfuck games like
Baal runs or boss fights, it's hard to know what charge you're on, so switch
to Tiger Strike and target the big meanie. Then you can always chuck in a
cobra or two for leech if necessary. Some good drops: Jade Talon,
Hellslayer, Doombringer. But no freaking nat claw!!! The incredibly generous
Hammy offered me one, but my stupid-a.s computer crashed on me before I
could take him up on his kind offer.

Not playing a lot today, wife's birthday.

My my, doesn't "Jabberwocky" <thunderjedi@theforce.bb> look good in
that trenchcoat:

Ah yes, the dozen or so people still actually playing Diablo.  ;-)

Just as clarification, Stygian dolls definitely don't hurt, so long as
you only get hit by one at a time, right?   We covered that in another
thread, didn't we?   Because I lost all 958 life at the time in one
hit to a regular doll, with 90% fire resistance (no physical
resistance on though)

I think it was "Jabberwocky" <thunderjedi@theforce.bb> that wrote
something like...

I didn't go to sleep.  It was only like 2pm.  But after something
probably like 5 hours of playing D2, I needed a change so went and
read a book.  Which I finished and then started back in on The Dark
Tower.

But it was a good game.  I gained like 2 or 3 levels to hit 78, making
my hellslayer wielding enchantress my 2nd highest character.

"But ultimately, Aliens is a movie about welding.
Go ahead, watch it and tell me there's not a MESS of welding that goes on here!"
