End of a Season
The Diablo II 1.10 Ladder Season 1 will soon come to an end and Blizzard
would like to thank all the players -- New, Returning and Veteran alike --
for making this a great Season. As a special treat to reward the Top Players
from around the world, we will be immortalizing the Top 10 Expansion and
Expansion Hardcore Characters in each of the 7 Classes on the Blizzard
website. That's 140 players from each Realm!
Season 1 Ladder Characters will be moved to their own 1.10+ population when
the season ends. Be sure to check back here for details on future Ladder
Seasons.
this is from the blizzard.com web site.

You might want to inspect the newsgroup before posting next time, your not
the 1st person to quote the site, (which i'm sure everyone checks daily
anyway) and hopefully your the last.

Yeah, there's always room for one more ladder reset thread, I guess.

If you need to email, then chainbreaker (naturally) at comcast dot
net--that's "net" not "com"--should do it.

Ah, you're all mean! It's good to see that people post about stuff, even
if it's been posted before! This vivid newsgroup is still the number one
reason why I'm still/again playing this game. (I did play Pharaoh today,
desperately trying to get a wealth rating of 20) and Ghost Master
(which I suck at), but I catch myself planing D2 characters even while
doing that. Pathetic.)

My game version is in German, so I translated that poorly. ;) It's one
of the tutorial (early game) missions. I have more than twenty now, but
need hundred more people (1500).

Ahhh. That would make a little more sense now. :^)
I love that game personally.. I had to search for a while after I lost
my first disks, but I finally found it again. ^^
A tip: When you get to Giza and need to build Khufu's and Khafra's
pyramids, bring a book. It takes a LOOOOOONG time....

Somehow i get that feeling back: "THE PATCH !!!! - All servers down it must
be the patch..."
And two hours later "THE PATCH !!!! - All servers down this time i'm sure it
is the patch..."
Another two hours later "Anyone else getting server down? - Is it the
patch???"
One month later "USEast is down can it be? Has Blizzard released the
patch???"
Two months later "Diabloii.net sais the patch will come this night"
Three months later: No one, really no one posts a thread that 1.10 is
released, all are playing to get a good start into the ladder and don't want
to loose time posting a message....
