DAMMIT to hell, I lost'em muling. Left them on the ground, walked off to the bathroom, answered the phone, forgot. Game was gone. 35% freakin gloves. Other stuff too, but I miss the gloves. Where do you all think I should go hunting for some more? NM Andy? Baal? Are they likely to drop in Hell at all? A guy dropped them on the ground, together with two Shaftstops, claiming they were 'crap' and told met to 'take' them. I guess one man's 'crap' is another man's 'nice stuff!'. ;) He was apparently trying to get perfect variants of both items (39% vs 40% MF for the chance Guards, and 195/199% vs 220% for the Shaftstops.) Tomorrow being Friday thank goodness, I will probably log in around 4-4:30 pm and drink and smoke and play till I pass out. Actually it's a spare set besides the one my obsolete East SC NL sorc is wearing. You will be doing me a favor to collect them off my useless char as these items may disappear any time due to inactivity. If i read the data correctly, Chance Guards are Tresure Class 21 and these monsters have the highest chance of dropping items of that class. Though it's for SP I think its drop chances are pretty accurate. I don't know what your MF is, so I typed in 100% in a players1 setting. Assuming these stats, it said: <snip> first two entries for Diablo Clone in Normal and Nightmare difficulties (I don't know why ATMA gives drop chances for the DC in these difficulties, or for SP for that matter) 1 in 252 - Mephisto (1st kill) 1 in 275 - Diablo (1st kill) 1 in 291 - Duriel (1st kill) 1 in 296 - Baal (1st kill) 1 in 358 - Mephisto (1st kill - Nightmare) 1 in 374 - Diablo (1st kill - Nightmare) 1 in 381 - Mephisto 1 in 386 - Baal (1st kill - Nightmare) 1 in 416 - Diablo <snip> bunch of other 1st kill stats 1 in 447 - Baal 1 in 541 - Mephisto (Nightmare) 1 in 564 - Diablo (Nightmare) 1 in 583 - Baal (Nightmare) 1 in 628 - Duriel 1 in 647 - Mephisto (Hell) 1 in 663 - Diablo (Hell) 1 in 668 - Baal (Hell) 1 in 1133 - Andariel (Nightmare) 1 in 1186 - Duriel (Nightmare) 1 in 1399 - Andariel (Hell) 1 in 1411 - Duriel (Hell) 1 in 1748 - The Summoner etc. Anyway, those seem to be the drop chances for the bosses according to ATMA. I took my first trapper out into the blood moor in nightmare in in the first 5 minutes there a 31 resist skin of the vipermaji and a 35mf pair of chance gaurds dropped from some of the boss packs there, all this from normal questing. I immediately shucked off the sigon parts that were on and kept going. I've read here in the past that monsters are better on ladder, so far it seems drops are better and monsters are no tougher than off ladder.
