This is to Patrick, Shiflet and anyone else who plays it. Apparently the
developer has been shut down.

Some sad news over the weekend.

The developer of Mythos and Hellgate has been shutdown with immediate
effect, all the developers have been given 30 days pay and told to go on
their way.

The intellectual property of Mythos has gone over to HanbitSoft and
Hellgate has been given to Comerica… The two companies who came together
to create Flagship.

The rumour is that a new company is about to rise from the ashes but for
now, it’s all over.

Yeah, I read some rumours here and there during the weekend, amongst other
things in the Mythos-related forum on d2jsp, but also some remarking in
the B.Net Diablo II forum.

Very sad indeed, although their new 'Overworld'-look for Mythos didn't
make me too happy. The servers did still work when I tried to login last
night; I'll try again this evening.

In any case: Not good.

Regards, Patrick.
