Questions about Grief and BotD...

First: if I put BotD in etheral BA, will the 400% ED be multiplied with
36-106.5 or 450% with 24-71?

Second: the ED from Phoenix shield and Fortitude armor is 400% and 300%, so
how is that working with my BotD BA? 1100% all together multiplied with
36-106.5 or 1150% with 24-71? Or 700% multiplied with whole BotD?

Third: now to Grief (in PB)... I want to know how will that same % ED work
with +400 dmg from Grief? And can PB be ethernal?

Thank you

Only familiar with your third quesition  :)
+400dmg will be added directly the the base dam of the weapon.
For example, you've made a PB-based Grief, it works like the PB has a base
dam of 431 to 435. +XX%ED will work after this. Very powerful!

Besides, PB is indestructible so it can't be eth in the same time.

It will be +400% to the 36-105

Not entirely sure on this one.

Not sure again.

No.

Assuming the formulae at http://strategy.diabloii.net/news.php?id=551 are
accurate, it looks like on- and off-weapon %ED are counted separately.
On-weapon %ED is figured as in your first question above, while off-weapon
%ED is lumped together with %ED from skills, so it should essentially be
base BotD damage * (700% + any other off-weapon %ED + %ED from skills/auras)

Going by the above site, the 400 damage is counted as part of the base
damage of Grief, and so it should be subject to whatever off-weapon %ED
you have.

> And can PB be ethernal?

As far as I know, the only way to get an ethereal PB is to upgrade an
ethereal rare or unique dimensional blade.  I don't believe there is
any way to get a runewordable ethereal PB.
