Doesn't the SOJ also add +1 to all skills, which wasn't mentioned? The
other stats sound about right, but I'd think that would merit a
reference  ;-)

To the OP, yes, you're the lucky one, getting Andy to drop *anything*
other than a TP scroll is rare, anything *useful* is almost unheard of
;-)

And Bill, you need to play more mods, the SoJ is a set drop from
Corpsefire in Normal in AR (but you kind of need the two you can get
in that one, especially if you play it like I did, nothing like
leaving Act 1/Normal at around level 54 ;-) ).

Getting an item from a monster that always drops it sorta removes the
feeling of accomplishment from actually finding it, IMO...

Concur.

Hey.... you dont like horror movies? Just trying build an
atmosfere :-)
And my friend just look at ring and say: Whats so big halllo about...
just a ring with +1 all.
Gosh...

And the clue isn't an +1 all ring... i feel like i really find
something... legendary?
Or maybe you are right, its an ordinary ring... sure, my
precioussss...

I can't agree with you.
She is pretty good dropper. I have Jalalas from her (this morning) and
nice unique axe Boneslayer Blade (yesterday).
And Magefists... so maybe its vary from player to player.
What you said is correct about Duriel.

Just a ring, my precious, for double sure... Nothing to pay his
attention.

I don't count AR ;) Played that a lot in 1.09 and 1.10, that and
Gemstone. But I meant I've never found one from a monster that doesn't
always drop it. <g>

Fair enough, I'm not sure that I've found it in regular D2 either,
although I'm pretty sure I found it in some *other* mod as well as AR
;-) To the people who said it doesn't really count if the monster
always drops it, well, yeah, but as I mentioned in AR you kind of
*need* 2 SoJs (I started to say or something similar, but there really
*is* nothing similar) and the other set drops, since the game is set
at 10x (think players ten) and I like(d) to play it at players 8.
Trust me, if you don't want to prove it to yourself, Natalya and Moe
in the 17-level Crypt, not to mention the Minions of Destruction, are
definitely still a challenge even with the extra drops ;-)

Yup. Gemstone. Corpsefire will drop it about every 5th time in normal (along
with Manald Heal, Eye of Etlitch, Twitchthroe, Hand of Broc, Treads of
C'thon, Tarnhelm and Lenymo).

I wish you more luck.

You are, that's a sweet hat. The whole set can only be completed by a
sorc but if you can put the hat, the belt and the armour together,
that's really nice :)

The armour is one of the rarest items in the game, isn't it?

Not really, I know a few things are rarer...

However, it is the rarest part of that set and one of the rarest set items,
with only Griswold's weapon, hat and shield being harder to find IIRC. :-)

We won't get into Templar's Might, Stormlash..... <g>

True, amongst sets it's one of the rarer ones. Also, is IK armor rarer? I've
had Tal's Armor drop for me(chaosing with my windy, couldn't have picked it
up if I even wanted to) but never seen an IK Armor fall.

Or CoA which I've still yet to find:-(

Why not?

Full inventory. Many of my characters are built to duel as well as pvm, so
their inventory is loaded down with charms, many characters without a single
space open. My windy in particular is one of my strongest characters and
most frequent duelers, and so he carries a torch, anni, 6 ele gcs with 40+
life, 2 more ele gcs with fhr, and all the rest of his inventory is filled
with 5 res/18-20 life scs.

Yes.

I've found about three Tals armours and one or two IKs so, yeah, it's
probably more rare.

LOL!! Crown of Ages! I was trying to think of that. I've never found one or
traded for one either. Found *two* 'Lashes though, always hoped to find an
eth one.
